Yeh obviously it is not everyone, and there are loads of people working against it (there is a big movement around calling Australia Day invasion day instead, for example) but I lived there for a few years with my family as a child, my parents had the same kind of friends they had had in the uk, but even as a young child I remember noticing how casually racist a lot of them were, my parents found it very difficult to deal with at times as they weren’t used to it
