One thing I will say about CF, regardless of what you think about the case, the CPS refused to backdown and progressed the case. Anyone with any small knowledge of the CPS, or Christ look at any trial or investigation, they take ducking ages as the CPS want it water tight and go through every little thing (even 24 hours in police custody is a nice mainstream way of realising just how much they need to charge). They had enough to prosecute CF , yes suicide is awful but when you look at the crux of that actual case , there was evidence to support it in court.

I often say this on threads here because I feel quite strongly about it. Nothing rips my knitting quite like people excusing shitty behaviour by claiming they have poor mental health. Some people are just dickheads . I have depression, occasional anxiety, I’ve been in active addiction yet I’ve never been racist or homophobic to anyone, either in person or online. No excuse for abuse…except poor mental health. She is a special sort of dickhead if she has no empathy for anyone - claims to have been trolled but from reading hear will know what Sharky’s received.

I didn’t think it would be long before Caroline Flack was mentioned. The poor girl must turn in her grave, her name gets pulled into everything and more often than not, the people who shout “be kind” are the ones who really need to practice what they preach.

I don’t know how I would react if there were threads on me. I’d like to think I’d ignore them but I don’t know if I could. But one thing I know for sure is that nobody has 122 threads here for no reason.

I work in mental health & people with mental health problems can still be dicks & have a crap personality. Having a diagnosed illness does not justify shitty behaviour. I wish folk would take accountability & responsibility for their actions,I’m looking at you Kate.
And I also wish folk would stop self diagnosing themselves with a mental illness. I’ve seen loads of influencers do it on their Instagram, I don’t think they realise that it can takes years to get a right diagnosis but these fuckers label themselves with whatever is in fashion.
