I totally get that, I know my son is not neurodivergent too and people hint at it cause he goes into his shell at parties and has little speech. I almost find myself showing videos of him not acting the way they perceive to be neurodivergent. People need to mind their own business, including me suggesting it but I was not aware people were saying it to her too so I feel her pain.
People who don't know anything about these things believe that autism and ADHD are personality traits, which is so wrong. You can't tell that someone is autistic or has ADHD because they are shy or awkward. Particularly children - it's so normal for children to only be comfortable around their parents, even until their early teens!

Autism and ADHD are specific patterns in the structure of the brain, with many different symptoms, most of which can't be seen by the naked eye. I'm sick of people being like "I know this guy at work, he's a bit odd, I think he's on the spectrum." Being odd =/= a neurological condition.

Children just irritate the hell out of me. Neurodiverse or not. Ban ‘em!
I’m here on holidays and there is an adults only section and this poor mother is walking her screaming child up and down trying to calm them looking towards the pool!I’m half tempted to hold up a sign “ you’ve only yourself to blame and could you move along to the next pool where screaming babies are allowed”

I’m afraid I had to turn off last weeks episode (I’m a week behind), where she is just reading out emails that have been going back and forth about her property. Boring and annoying. Sorry Katherine!

Has anyone else gone down a rabbit hole to find her flat in Crouch end? Probably just me who is having a v v slow day.

I found an active Airbnb for a flat that is I presume same building, not her apartment as only 2 rooms but people are complaining in the reviews about bad smells.. Eww there are dead rats and rat droppings in the wall of your Airbnb, horrendous!

I have a real dislike for most kids that are not my own. I had a kid be rude to my child in my front garden recently and I told her to get the duck out of my garden and called her and her mam an weird troll... Well, she told her mam and I denied it and she got in trouble. Glad to have gotten that off my chest..

People need to STOP pathologising each other and each other’s children. Unless you are a qualified, experienced Psychiatrist, you have absolutely business bandying around labels like autism.

Let people be. let children be sensitive and themselves without labelling them with ND.

The pole thing was annoying because you clearly see that he was tall enough. Customer service in the country is absolutely appalling and I agree with KR that it is bad.
💯

It’s so easy to feel like you’ve done everything right if your child has no social/ speech/ whatever issues and pass judgement on everyone else’s kids and how they must have done something wrong with the parenting. Fred is just being himself, let him be who he is. One of mine was really similar and totally different now.

I work with kids of various ages and the covid thing is real. Some kids have bounced back with no problems and it’s harder for other kids because they are all different. Very little to do with what’s happening at home as the majority of parents are trying their absolute best.

To be fair, I was careful not to label or even speculate whether Fred is ND - I simply observed that he doesn't seem to have much outside socialisation and maybe he'd be better with strangers if he did. This of course is speculation too. But if you can't speculate on a place like Tattle, where can you 🤷 It wasn't a comment on Fred himself but discussion about KR's parenting - if talking about parenting on here was seen as below the belt most of the threads wouldn't exist, especially with the strict rules on tone policing

Agreed!! If people are easily offended in a place where anything goes maybe don't be on Tattle. Katherine has put herself in the public eye, which includes her kids now and SHE is talking about them on Podcast and also on her Insta. We only know these kids and things about Fred's personality as K has told everyone on her 'Telling EVERYBODY EVERYTHING' podcast. So what is the problem?

In the most recent podcast she details that her nanny took a week off and they needed a new nanny to tide them over.. Why the hell can't BK just do it!? I am baffled by this, they must have come to an agreement that he is a stay-at-home person, not a stay-at-home dad lol.

Her bit on ‘emotional manipulation’ in the latest podcast annoyed me so much. It is obvious that the teacher was suggesting that she add a more personal touch to what sounded like a very generic and boring draft. Katherine just rambles on so thoughtlessly now

It was so weird. Emotive language is part of persuasive writing and has been taught for years. It’s most recognisable in charity ads where there is a pattern of pulling on heart strings then reader empowerment. It’s an important part of that text type and it’s funny that Katherine rated her own intelligence so highly and was so indignant about the grade despite openly saying she never reads. She is an intelligent, articulate person but she’s no where near as smart as she thinks she is.

She seemed so annoyed about the nanny, like because she still works everyone else should.

More closeup pumping stories. Probably done to get a reaction. I’ve fallen for it!
Is it just being used to show that’s the general vibe of her day to day life? 🤷‍♂️

Omg I hate all the showy-off breastfeeding on Instagram. I formula feed my little one, do I post endless videos and close-ups and different angles of her sucking her bottle? Of course I bleeping don't! It's just sanctimonious moralising and showing off and I'm sick of it. It actually gives breastfeeding mums a bad name.

Sorry but it's different. There's no point in showing off a baby sucking on a bottle because with breastfeeding it's about the personal connection. There's no personal connection with an interchangable piece of rubber is there. It's also really amazing and emotional being able to feed your baby from your own body.

Showing breastfeeding gives breastfeeding mums a bad name?! What in the 1950s misogynistic body shaming is this? Breasts are for breastfeeding not sure what your problem is.
