I can't find a thread for this woman. Every time I see her on tv I wonder why her face never moves - is it botox?

I see she’s now showing her bump, did she ever publicly announce she was pregnant. I really like her so I’m happy she’s having a baby.
I didn’t used to like her and then I watched her on taskmaster and fell in love. She’s so genuine and open about her plastic surgery and keeps her daughter actually private (looking at you Whitmore).

She flirts with the privacy of her daughter though - uses her a lot in her jokes, but doesnt share her pictures online, but does bring her on tour and gets her on stage
Yeah I don't really like her and it's partly because she seems to see her daughter as an inconvenience/burden. I guess some of that is "comedy" but I sense a ring of truth behind it. Plus she really overdoes the botox. Did anyone see her on HIGNFY a few weeks ago? She was halfway to Pete Burns territory.
I like her podcast, she’s honest about the work she has had done.
She’s vocal about kids in the limelight and iirc she shares what her daughter is comfortable with.
I get the sense that getting pregnant/being pregnant hasn’t been easy so she’s kept it quiet as long as possible, fair play to her, the public don’t own her, she’s genuinely talented (to those who like her humour) so I think fair play to her.
IMO you can’t compare KR to celeb hungry whiners like LW, she’s not coveting celebrity for celebrities sake.

I do like Katherine, shes a breath of fresh air at times. Saw her live and she was brilliant.

She spoke on her podcast about having a miscarriage not long ago and how she felt embarrassed/stupid for being excited for the baby. Probably explains why she kept this one quiet.

I love Katherine! Have tickets to her show next year. Genuinely made me smile when she announced the birth of her son on Instagram, they've had a hard road getting there by all accounts, so it's just lovely news.
I didn't think The Duchess worked, tonally it was all over the place with inconsistent characters, but still had a few laughs. I think stand up is where her strengths lie, though. Also think she's funny on panel shows. She just seems like a laugh and a nice person, that's all you want, really!

I used to LOVE everything about her but now I find her a bit inconsistent. Mostly as she’s so pro women rights etc and then you hear she is presenting a reality show of however many men who could be in a relationship to try and win some bird over. I don’t know, it’s just somethings changed this past year with her (besides pregnancy and miscarriage) and I can’t put my finger on it.

In one of her tours years ago she talked about how her daughters dad was an older famous tv star in the US. I’ve always assumed it was bollocks as it would have come out at some point but it was definitely reflected in the storyline of The Duchess.
I’ve loved her since Campus. With the feminism v the new series, she’s always been quite open about her love of pop culture so I guess it’s that.

Desperate for attention. Can't see the appeal myself. But I'm a straight bloke in his 40s, I'm probably not the demographic she is aiming for. Thankfully.
