That flower wall ended up ok but she sure dragged it out and tried for ages to cover it first in other forms of tatt. It was funny how she kept finding more and more random flowers from around the house. I bet she has rooms full of junk.
I think she bought a lot of silk flowers for her wedding, but has used them.for this!
I used to really quite like Kate and I still do like some aspects of her content. I dont follow her or subscribe but I do dip in and out of her content every now and then. I'll probably carry on doing this because I'm nosy but I've really come to realise 2 things that really bother me about her
1) the obvious matter of the never ending tat. I did think it was a very bad message to send out from an environmental point of view before lockdown but now in the current situation it just seems so irresponsible and tone deaf
2) she has pets and seems to genuinely be an animal lover but continually buys cheap rubbish cosmetics (usually poundland in my experience!) That arent cruelty free...why??
She has a lot of followers that she could influence positively but just doesn't seem to care

Her daily or weekend vlogs were far more interesting but then they probably demanded more effort. Her endless Poundland and charity shop hauls are showing the real Kate. Sure what else does she have to do? She's beyond lazy with her content and I saw that she honestly has no morals when she continued to post hauls in the midst of a pandemic, almost encouraging people to shop. That sickened me tbh and I stopped subbing to her channel.
Here's an idea Kate, buy some decent furniture and accessories with just one room in mind and stop filling that beautiful house with tat and cheap crap.

I have been lurking for a while but finally created an account.
Her content is haul after haul after haul. It’s so damaging, especially considering she probably gets rid of most of that tat in the bin a couple of weeks after buying it because she’s bored of it. I just think it’s such a shame to encourage such materialism and have nothing else to the channel. I used to enjoy her videos but I can’t support endless buying.
I couldn’t find a thread for Luke Catleugh but feel there should be one (how does one go about setting up a thread) as I have really gone off him as well.
He comes across as really desperate and disingenuous. He has the audacity to go on holiday to Greece, rarely wear his mask whilst there, then return from Greece and instead of quarantine himself, what does he do? A matter of hours later he’s at the supermarket, the next day he’s meeting up with mr carrington and taking public transport, then he’s at an event with instax, then he’s at a cafe, meeting with friends, in Sainsbury’s. the list goes ON. It’s truly the icing on the cake for me, so selfish and what a bad example to set. He also posts several ads every single day and to me comes across like everything he does is “for the gram”
Really disappointed in how they’re turning out. Sorry for the rant but after he started telling people to take a chill pill after Boris announcement this week, this was the final straw for me.

I agree with everything said about Kate. The mindless consumerism is truly disgusting. It’s a shame because I don’t think she’s a bad person deep down, she’s just a bit dull and the only thing that gets her views is the shopping.
Re Luke, IIRC he went to Kos which isn’t on the quarantine list. Although I don’t think anyone should be travelling anywhere by air, he can’t be blamed for doing what this wishy washy govt have allowed.

I agree, he can’t be blamed for travelling when this govt is allowing it! It’s his actions following. No attempt at self isolating (even just for 7 days) or just popping out for essentials, instead he’s been socialising, working with brands and all sorts.

Luke thread for you. I must admit to finding him a bit irritating. Did a Sainsbury's food haul, with a gift voucher he recieved from them. No sign of #AD anywhere.
I think Kate posted something on Instagram the other day which implied she had some sponsored content from Sainsbury's coming up too.
If you can do a haul video from bags of tat you found in your home and completely forgot that you bought it should be screamingly obvious that you have a problem.

She is cringe worthy. I remember ages ago she mentioned that one of the reasons she started YouTube was because she lost her regular job in radio when a new station manager took over. I bet he/she couldn't wait to get her off the airwaves!

I was trying to watch one of the Come Dine with Me vlogs when she started on the "funny" voices. I took out my headphones and let my husband listen, his face was a picture
I see greedy has yet another charity shop haul. I wonder if it ever occurs to her that it might be nice to leave some of these 'amazing bargains' and 'treasure' for other people to find. Perhaps for instance, the people who actually go to work and contribute something to society during the week, who might love to find something nice when they have a little leisure time at the weekend. Or perhaps those who are struggling financially at this difficult time, for who an affordable treat might be a nice little pick me up.

That's a very valid point actually, she really doesn't know when to stop. She had a picture of the spare bedroom on her Instagram feed recently featuring a shelf over the bed that wouldn't look out of place in a charity shop.
