Night feeds can be lovely regardless of wether it’s a breastfeed or a bottle feed. My kids were both bottle/formula fed and I have no issues with that at all but regardless it was still nice to be up late with them giving them a bottle. I don’t think that’s exclusive to breastfeeding.

Being a new mum is hard; no one has ever said it wasn’t hard. Yes, it’s a strange and crazy time and it takes time to get back to a place of some normality. That in itself is completely normal!

I think the thing here that’s so obvious is just how Kate & Martin don’t seem to have a grip on the reality of having a child. They are behaving like stupid teenagers. They don’t want to actually put the work in to look after their child so they have got some random stranger in to do the hard graft all so that they can piss about acting like dickheads - like seriously, what normal adult couple who have a very young baby dump the child with a babysitter to go to play crazy golf...?! They are just acting like idiots. They are behaving like stupid little kids and seem to get off on it.
Same. I tried bf but it didn't work out. I did express for a while too and bottle feed that. Anyway my point is if she did just formula feed in the end then Boj could help with feeds but clearly he is not interested. My husband loved doing it as it was real bonding time. We shared the load and the sleep. It is still utterly exhausting but that's what you expect with a new baby. These two seem so immature. Not looking to get into a bf or formula debate. Whatever works for you.

She should sack off breast feeding. I think breastfeeding is lovely if you can do it without getting upset.
it’s more convenient too, putting baby straight on to feed. No sterilising bottles etc. But her method is stressing me out.
pumping in the middle of t njiyht, crying because baby isn’t latching on. Not making enough milk.
just give her some formula and share the work. If you can breastfeed, brilliant. If you can’t, then don’t. Babies getting everything it needs is also brilliant.
she should
Go to bed at 8pm, dodge can do the last feed, she gets up in the night, he does early morning. Done
It’s when she said she’s doing it because boj wanted to get involved in feeding I thought nahhhh you’re confusing a newborn just so he can have his way then he’s not even seeming to do much with the baby anyway nope

I’m assuming she’s joking with her post today... “we spent time apart from Noa for the first time together” ???? That’s a joke right?

Is the 3 whole nights a week when you’re apart from Noa together not included then? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm intrigued that she didn't know how hard having kids is. Do any of her friends have children?

I don't have them themselves, but I get an impression of how bloody exhausting babies can be from my friends/colleagues. Surely this isn't news to her?

Oh and Boj being up at 645am. That is a completely realistic time to be awake, especially for a young baby. I'm up earlier than that with my 10wo puppy 🤣

6.45am is a perfectly normal time to be awake for the day in any case - baby or no baby!

She's still BF because it burns a lot of calories That's the only reason.

What is the whole ‘BRILLIANT’ thing about? Does she not realise she sounds like an absolute head?

Evidently not. You’d think someone would tell her to just stop it. Every time she does it I just think she sounds like a wanker. It’s not funny or remotely entertaining, it’s just annoying abs juvenile and stupid. It makes her sound like an idiot.

Along with "get in my son" and "smash your face in". Ladette culture went out in the 90s.

I know - whenever she says it I physically cringe. I don’t know whether she thinks she’s being funny but it isn’t funny in the slightest.. 😒

Don't forget the tacky merch they did with all these sayings on! Haven't heard much about it since so I imagine it tanked just like their show did. Just a pair of narcissists who had a baby to pimp out because their careers are going nowhere and money is drying up. I feel sorry for Noa having these 2 delinquents as her on off parents (I use that term loosely) more just vessels in which she was carried cos neither of them have a maternal bond with her whatsoever. Noa doesn't even know who these strangers are. No attachment. No affection. Just some aggressive voice bellowing at her when her mum needs content. They are terrible and should be utterly embarrassed and ashamed to bring a baby into the world when they weren't prepared to be selfless. That baby deserves the world, and she got those morons. Life is cruel.
