She seems to have a bit of a habit for adopting elderly folk as grandparents. This is an Instagram post she made in 2016, which is dedicated to her grandad. The grandad that’s just passed she only knew for three years meaning their relationship will have been established in 2020. Val’s dad died in 2003, and Mick/Mike’s (answers to both) dad died decades ago so this mysterious grandparent isn’t a biological relation to her.

I think the homophobia rumours are due to her growing up in a very old fashioned environment and you can tell she is a product of that. I think that would change if she had a job/studied with people outside of church or bowls.
I find the back chat with her mum hilarious. They seem to drive each other up the wrong way a lot.

Does anyone know what happened to Kates hand and why it doesn’t move?
It looks really similar to my Grandmas hand, she had an accident as a child and ended up with a lot of damage to the tendons. It healed badly and coz it was like the 1940s, there wasn’t much that could be done, so she has never been able to really use her fingers on that hand and it’s all bent up and basically been non functional for her entire life unfortunately. Does anyone know if something similar happened to kate?

She has cerebral palsy, I think she said it happened because she was a forceps birth. Idk much about it though because it seems like it has gotten worse

Sad news tonight regarding Grandad…



I really feel for her and I don’t know how she’ll cope if he does go. She places lots of importance on their relationship even though in the grand scheme of things she’s only known him a short while. I know she’s been saying that she’s been off her food a lot lately due to the stress brought on by Grandad’s hospitalisation and immobilisation so as horrible as this may sound, if he’s no longer around, at least she won’t be constantly reminded of what their relationship used to be like, via his presence which may relieve her stress slightly.

It seems she’s already been trying to make peace with the possibility of him passing away, judging by a comment she left on a TikTok about someone losing their parents which I saw yesterday…
