20:15-21:00 - requests played for Chris and Mandy, Bob and Judith, a few other octogenarians from Fox Hill, and a brief reference to "Grandad's" death which sucks all the atmosphere out of the room

21:00-21:10 - it's time for the Sky News commercial radio simulcast followed by Kate reading an article from the Bucks Herald website verbatim

21:10-21:30 - the same three questions about 1960s pop music are posed to viewers as part of the weekly quiz, while a Twitter homosexual gets the thrill of his life when Kate breaks new ground and plays a request from one of her online fans

21:30-22:00 - Steve reads out the answers to the quiz while Kate has a panic as she realises only Auntie Rita and Uncle Jim's request is left on the list. She invites listeners to call or email in with a song of their choice since the Twitter/TikTok quota (1) has already been satisfied. With no calls from friends or family members forthcoming, Kate selects Made You Look by Meghan Trainor and claims it was submitted by a fictional centenarian named Diggory. And with that the show is over for another week.

I can’t believe how starved of Kate King content I am. No weekly radio chaos anymore, no tiktok dramas, no GDPR breaching tiktok conversations about OAPs, no grocery hauls or YouTube videos, no arguments on instagram stories. Nothing but food diaries.

a tragedy. I texted my boyfriend saying you'll never believe what's happened and he called me thinking something terrible had happened to me. it had. Kate king had been banned from TikTok.

I was trying to find an edit someone made of Kate and came across this. It’s pretty brutal and presumably by people who bullied her in school.

I feel like therapy would really help her deal with any trauma from school and help her get over her fear of people in their 20s.

Really saddened by this. It’s just downright cruel. I can remember she talked about going to school with Will from Love Island and apparently he was a little shit to her as well, which I can well believe. This probably explains why most of her friends are pensioners due to her negative experiences of young people. It’s sad that her school experience had impacted her so profoundly in adulthood.

As much as we’ve taken the piss on here, I like to think I’m laughing at Kate’s antics on social media as opposed to her individually, as a person. Personally, I’d love nothing more than for Kate to realise she’s got a legion of fans who think she’s a funny fucker and just embrace this but she takes herself far too seriously, which is no wonder considering people in school seemingly made a mockery of her.

If you’ve never heard of Miss King before, here is a taster:






Facts about Kate King:

• Kate is 23 but has the persona of somebody much, much older.
• Kate has cerebral palsy.
• All of Kate’s friends appear to be senior citizens.
• Kate lives with her mother Val and father Mick/Mike (he answers to both).
• There is another man in her life who she calls Grandad but (apparently) isn’t actually her Grandad.
• Kates family life is further complicated because it came out that her Dad’s sister died and then her husband married Kate’s Nan!
• Kate plays bowls.
• Despite previously saying that her life was too busy to have a job, she recently announced online that she is starting a new job is the manager of her bowls club from the start of May.
• Kate uploads regular grocery hauls to YouTube, almost always featuring the disembodied voice of Val. They often get into small arguments and you can cut the tension with a knife!
• Kate also presents an all-request show on Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio. She almost always refuses peoples requests because she doesn’t like this song. Unfortunately/hilariously, people have previously sent in well wishes to EastEnders characters etc and Kate has read them out live on air as if they are real.
• Katie is particularly interested in people’s names and has made various YouTube videos on this topic.
• Kate has a massive following on Gay Twitter.

I am sure there is other stuff about Kate that I have forgotten but these are the main points. She truly is an icon!

I can’t believe Kate King has her own Tattle page. This is amazing. Reading through it all today has had me howling.

I was hoping Kate would have a thread. I didn’t know who she was a month ago but have fallen down the rabbit hole.
Is she real or a character like Charity Shop Sue? I can’t work it out. That carry on with her not her grandad grandad was mental she killed him before he actually died and now he’s dead she’s sounding glad his gone as she can slag rate coffee shops with her dad.

Anyone else watch her latest tiktok? She's such an arrogant and condescending cow at times, she's bonkers. She's sitting there talking about "the social media" like an OAP with a crusty lip lecturing us on how content creation and getting paid works when literally less than 24 hours ago she had to ask people in the chat how to do it. Then she goes on about how she doesn't understand the tiktok shop. The grafting and begging is already starting and I just know she's going to be a nightmare. I'm just obsessed how she's acting like this is a job and is getting so offended by it comparing herself to a window cleaner. Classic Kate.

My personal highlight is that she only makes one video a day to spend time with her parents even though she's at home all day spending time with her parents. If there's one thing Kate/Katie King will do it's make a massive mountain over a molehill.

Edit: Read through her comments on her latest video. She's arguing with everyone but I'm howling at her saying playing Lingo counts as being busy.
