@Pentothal have they turned up yet??
Here we go. Covid got me and for two days I couldn't even function, back feeling almost normal
The package arrived on Friday. The courier bag said overnight shipping, really BJ,

when you said they were sent out Monday/Tuesday.
Shipped in a pink courier bag (where did she get that idea

) inside was the white box. The warning on the box was a worry, what fish products are they coming in contact with

I'm guessing it was a generic one she had printed, but if questioned, she'd need to be able to substantiate these claims, and if she is handling fish, sea food, it will change her food plan
Opening the box there is a lot of pink tissue paper, a cellophane bag containing the biscuits on another bed of waxed baking paper. If we are taking about waste, she would have been better off individually packaging the cookies, as per the question. She could have halved the tissue and wax paper with the same effect. The seal on the cellophane bag was not intact, again, individual bags would have been more appropriate.
The cookies didn't look fresh, when I weighed them, they were crumb covered, and looked like they hadn't been sold that day so were packaged off.
The whittakers piece of chocolate was covered in.bloom, so it had, at some point been exposed to temp changes. The biscoff piece was soft. I presume this isn't meant to be the case.
I dont know what sort of quality control BJ has, but I would expect each cookie.to weigh the same (weigh the dough balls). These ranged in size from 115 to 145 gm.
Were they worth the price?, not for the wait, if you tell your customers they are being sent on a certain day, make sure this is the case. Not for how they came packaged, there was a lot of unnecessary packaging,. Jammed together in one bag is not ideal. Sending in individual waxed bags would have looked more professional, but more labor intensive when packing.
The taste. They do taste ok, but nothing I would rave about, and I wouldn't pay any more than $6 for one of these cookies. If you are going to charge more, there has to be a "wow" component. There was nothing with these. They are big cookies, that is all. Sometimes less is more, and big isn't always best.
It was an interesting experiment purchasing, waiting and testing. Would I buy again, no. I'll stick with baking my own, or buying a Cookie Time
