I seem to have missed notifications for this thread recently so I'm a bit out of the loop.
Pardon my language, if you knew me irl you'd know I'm actually well spoken and rarely use profanity.
But Jojo's a bleeping curd. Of all of the fake, selfish, exploitative and toxic vloggers doing the rounds he is absolutely the worst.
I cannot understand why any of the people he exploits in his videos have anything to do with him.
If I were Disney I'd ban him from the parks.
Unfortunately they have no choice. If they refuse or tell him to leave them alone, they would be considered to be breaking character and potentially be fired as a result. And he knows that, but still uses them for his cringey content. Anyone who tries to point this out to him is brushed off as a bully and sending mean comments. But as long as he is making $$ off the back of it, who cares right?
Yes I get that, but I meant everyone. His 'friends', his endless parade of thumbnail girls, random attractive strangers, all clearly being used to make his videos more appealing than having to watch him.

100% He has bought subscribers. For the amount he has as you say, the actual interaction is so low.
I think they followed him over from TikTok but never engage. If you look at his history, he only has two big jumps in subscribes, one in June which was around the time he and Kyle were thirst-trapping on their cruise, and again in November when he had a couple of his YouTube shorts go viral, one of which got almost 3 million views.
He does a lot of hinky tit, but I don't see enough to conclude that he did that.
I noticed the same thing with Patrick Dougalls channel as well. He has 214k subscribers but you would never think it looking at the last several months of views on his videos. He had one massively popular video with 57m views currently which is where most of his subs came from probably. I don’t think anyone would accuse him of buying subs and they shouldn’t with JoJo either.
If there is any Disney vlogger where I'm going to default to assumptions of behaving like a decent human being, it's Patrick, and if he and JoJo's metrics are similar, I think that's enough to convince me that buying subscribers isn't one of JoJo's sins.
Views seem flat or low for just about every vlogger. There's not much new happening at Disney, so it's just the same tit over and over.

if you have a video go viral or gain popularity on another platform like TikTok , you will gain a sudden splurge of subscribers who will more than likely not end up watching the rest of the videos
to my understanding this is actually really bad for channels so I doubt JoJo or Patrick or anyone would voluntarily want this
