Whatever the reason I wouldn't risk taking my clothes off outside in winter if I was immunocompromised and had just had Covid. So at least there's that.

He's definitely softer than he used to be. Although I'm sure Instagram isn't helping.

Starri you are one of my favorite people on this forum, just wanted to toss that out there!

It’s hard enough as an adult who grew up before social media- I can imagine it’s pretty damn hard being in your early 20s surrounded by glaze perfection.

I hope Kyle grows up, honestly. I’m taking a break from his channel for now…can’t support someone who refuses personal accountability and a chance to learn.

I'm not sure either are any more.
JoJo is now so obviously selfish that he doesn't think redemption is necessary. Everything he says and does is moral perfection.
Kyle seems intent on moving on as if nothing has happened but the longer he leaves it the less likely it is people will forgive him.
I'm only lurking in his comments pretending I still like him because I'm going to enjoy seeing the b go down in flames.

Maybe I'm just dancing as fast as I can, but I don't see Kyle as particularly devious. He's just like a golden retriever puppy.

I'm not saying either of them acted appropriately, but Kyle seems more reactive to people getting upset with him, while JoJo just doesn't seem to care.

I’m surprised by how many patrons JoJo lost on Patreon on the first of the month. The count goes up during the month as new members join, but it’s on the 1st when any losses are reflected. He had around 107, but now down to 94. That’s more than a 10% decline.

Well if he isn’t fulfilling his tier benefits then people are probably unwilling to stay. I noticed Kyle also went from 216 to 197. But I also notice he seems to regain them quite quickly by mid month, quicker than JoJo.

I'm not sure that's the reason people are leaving this month.
I've also noticed Kyle's subscriber count appears to be slowing down.

Sure a few probably left over the Christmas thing. Probably a combination of that and not delivering benefits. Kyle went from 173 to 216 last month, I think his biggest gain on Patreon yet. It remains to be seen whether he will see similar increase this month or if Christmas is enough to steer some away.

No matter how many he gets I'm sure they won't all stay. If you've been a Patreon of his you'll know he regards it as a chore. Sure you get videos a day early now and again but the comments people leave rarely get replies. I doubt he even reads them. People will grow tired of being ignored.

I noticed yesterday in his comments a couple of people are saying 'please check your DMs' and 'please check your email'. He isn't learning.

He's happy to chat to people in live streams because it's all on camera and people get to see how friendly he is. But when the camera is off getting basic courtesy out of him is a miracle unless you're gifting him cruises.

And I don't think he cares at all. As someone already said it's a numbers game to him. If some leave pissed off, so what, more fish in the sea to reel in with his thirst bait thumbnails. They aren't people, they're a resource.

Seeing comments from viewers on how sweet it was that JoJo gave away stuff to strangers in the parks was kind of sickening. There’s nothing sweet or kind about giving stuff to people for the sole purpose of generating content. He wouldn’t have given a cent to any of those people unless he was able to use them for his vlog.

Exactly. Like what are you supposed to say when someone asks your kid if he can give them a free doll and film it? I wonder if they knew he would end up in the thumbnail too.

And he made sure he was pretty much only near kiosks instead of shops where someone could have grabbed a loungefly or something. Hope they enjoyed the freebie and exposure to someone fresh out of "quarantine"!

I haven't, and probably won't watch the video, but I'm hoping that he at least got permission before he started filming. PMM did something similar a few weeks ago where it was clear he was just approaching random people to give them money, and it made me extremely uncomfortable.

Before the isolation debacle, I might have wanted to say hello to him, but even before, I wouldn't have wanted to be part of him always making new friends.

Absolutely. JoJo's modus operandi is filming other people to make himself look good by association.
He has to because he's pathologically dull by himself.
