I think that's the issue though, I'm.not sure his personality is the selling point otherwise his views and engagement would be better. There has to be something about him that isn't connecting with people.

So I guess now he is trying news stories, but that's an already saturated market.

Him and Kyle sold their souls for hurricane views, made no apologies for it and ever since then their views have been worse than ever.

Looking back and it's almost two weeks since his "mental health" vlog. That video (we know he was banking on) only has 23k views and he now has 500k subs? Failure is not flattering but he wears it well.

He should of taken that Disney job when he has the chance. His channel is tanking massively, probably because it serves no purpose

OK so I didn't do indepth research but have done some and apparently 15-20% is seen as good subscriber engagement on youtube

Jojo is sitting at around 2-3%

The only thing that will save him at this point is when they roll out the ad revenue for Shorts. I'm sure his views will go way down on those since people are going to be less willing to sit through ads and there will probably be a ton of channels who start uploading more and more them, but it's his best chance at making money.

I don't even think that can save him. It's time for him to take a hard look in the mirror and decide that YouTube should be a hobby and that he needs to get a regular job.

Is it possible that maybe he's just been buying bot subs and that's why he started the other channel to see the "real" followers? It's so odd for his engagement to be that low for the amount of subs he has...

Now he is imitating those list/ranking channels?! The guy is in free fall desperation mode, just throwing anything out that sticks. His channel has lost all purpose and identity.

People just don't like/engage with him and he has to face the truth

Guessing if he didn't live with Kyle he might actually see the writing on the wall that he isn't that interesting and that he should go back to work for Disney.

Man his uploads since he got back from California have been rough. If he had any momentum from Aulani and Disneyland then it's completely gone. He clearly doesn't know what to do at the parks at the moment so now he's trying to find ways to make money sitting at his desk. How about going to some other parks? Disney World, Universal and your room aren't the only three vlogging options.

JoJo, buddy. I'm not going to go so far as to say I was rooting for you, but you did turn in some really good vlogs from California and Hawaii. You're capable of putting out videos that get more than (at present) 932 views, but you need to actually try.

15 hours in and his video only has 2.9k views!

He won't be blaming himself though, it will be the nasty articles calling him out on the hurricane videos.
