In that interview with Ruben, Ruben said he'd been surprised by how funny John is.
I think he's someone who seems normal at first glance but is a bit odd once you get to know him, probably (mostly) in a good way.
His teammates always seem to really love him. Like, can you imagine having a colleague name their dog after you? That's not just a shared sense of humour, it's genuine love and heartfelt belief that that relationship won't sour.
Boring people don't get that kind of love. He's definitely a bit of a weirdo.

I'm so glad he's injury free and doing well lately. Fingers crossed that 2022 will be a great year for him

hope he can play a full season fit&healthy and same for the WC 
Maybe i’m biased but imo he is in a better form right now than Laporte or even Ruben, so hopefully Pep will give him more starts. Also for the next few CL games he will most probably be RB instead of Walker, so we’ll see this face and a more often, fingers crossed
