I have not seen the clip, so I am taking a stab in the dark here. But, I feel ambivalent about this. On the one hand, it is private property and absolutely their right to refuse filming. On the other hand, everything is captured on camera these days and it does always make my laugh when people get hysterical over filming when there are literally cameras everywhere.I'm not surprised GOB was questioned by security while filming around the Pearson Square apartments.
I see your point, cameras are indeed everywhere. But I would feel uncomfortable filming within the confines of where people live, thoroughfare rights are thankfully granted in many of these properties. I would feel lucky I could access the area without it being gated, which is what those who pay 7 figures for an apartment might expect. Neither would I walk around filming on council estate pathways where I didn't live.I have not seen the clip, so I am taking a stab in the dark here. But, I feel ambivalent about this. Well, to be honest, GOB does have some creepy fans, who like to hang out in places she has Vlogged in case they bump in to her! Then this happened....I see your point, cameras are indeed everywhere. Or in chapels, where people go for quiet contemplation and are silently praying.I see your point, cameras are indeed everywhere. Don't agree, not everything is captured on camera. Nor should it be.I have not seen the clip, so I am taking a stab in the dark here. But, I feel ambivalent about this. CCTV literally everywhere in the city, especially in London. The security guard probably was wearing body worn CCTV. I've not come to that part yet, as I keep getting distracted and GOB's videos can be so boring, so I do remain ambivalent about this specific incident.I

Not being argumentative whatsoever, but what makes you think that?
I agree. Her USP is right under her nose if she uses it innovatively.MAM’s USP is her age, her zest for life, access to interesting people and places. She does herself a disservice by looking up to others who are just clones of each other.
It was mentioned upthread, Puccini's 'O Mio Babbino Caro'. It's a beautiful piece, now used constantly by Italvloggers.Does anyone know what music Filipe added for the scenes in the chapel? It's quite nice, better than the dreary Poundland radio dross that usually features.
Thank you!It was mentioned upthread, Puccini's 'O Mio Babbino Caro'. It's a beautiful piece, now used constantly by Italvloggers.
She told the story of being questioned about filming on her radio show, she didn't mention it on the vlog. She opened the show with the tale, doing the usual harrumphing about the challenges of her day and asking for calls from listeners if they'd experienced similar.Thank you!
I can't see GOB being told to stop filming when she is outside the apartments.
...

Makes me heave..I'm not even joking. I have a visceral loathing of her nostril shotsI’m not sure why she bangs on about not using ring lights when we all saw the ring light in the reflection on her bathroom tiles…whining about living in a small Marylebone flat - the bloody entitlement!!!

And filming up the nostrils as per usual

Filming in that chapel whilst that poor woman who was having a quiet moment and the delusional stuff about London cabbies picking her up to drive her home in the rain….er, okay..
Exactly - and your description pretty much describes my working/social life patterns. Working people like this will make up a significant number of audience members for theatres during the week, and I'm sure those theatres are delighted to welcome us. It's great to be able to dress up when feasible, but it isn't always feasible.Living in her W1 media bubble she has no understading that many working people need to be out their door at 6.30am for a full working day, nowhere to store a change of clothes if hot-desking or working at various sites, then lucky to get away to the West End for showtime, carrying their laptop to their seat because they can't leave it in the cloakroom.
