I’m no way a fan of the girl lol. But just wanted to say I work in retail and I have every weekend off and I have booked Christmas week off and I have no children!
I do however work 35+ hours a week!!

It's not you, it's Jane that we're discussing. She works part time and then takes every Christmas off. She selfishly helped with the rota so that she could make sure that she got the time off, which is very greedy as she seems to have every Christmas off!????? So because I chose not to have children that means I’m selfish for not standing back and waiting for all the people with children book their holidays first???? OMG
Oh soz, it’s not like you get annual leave all year round is it - oh wait yes I’m sure you do. I’m just saying, before I had kids I always had the common courtesy to let my colleges/friends have the days around Christmas off first so they could spend it with their little ones. I agree with Queenie here. Before I settled down I would let my colleagues with families have priority on special occasions like Christmas or birthdays and the school holiday if they struggled to get childcare. Surely it’s just common curtesy combined with being able to take time off as and when you want and not having to pay the extortionate prices with term time

I've wondered this too, especially as she hadn't really worn glasses that much before the wedding anyway.
