i think by making her accounts private, she is trying to convince herself and other people that what has happened in the past week was totally normal behaviour and that she was being bullied and judged for what she considered harmless exaggerations. has now probably realised how batshit it looked to everyone else, hence dramatic twitter purge and the rest of it.
