I think it was good timing as much as anything on her part. She's so unwilling to adapt - she should have been making YouTube, Instagram and the TikTok content - there's a wealth of excellent, well-made food content and she already had a profile so could have built on that, but no.
She's just a bitter little creep witching into the void that her grasping sense of entitlement isn't being fulfilled while she sits on her a doing the square root of zero.
oh my gosh absolutely. with already having a profile/ following, plus a niche ie budget friendly cooking she could have done really well making shortform recipe content. I can think of loads of ideas for little series she could have done to make playlists etc. budget cakes, noodle dishes, getting the actual best out of tins, yellow sticker wednesdays, budget vegan dishes, fussy children on a budget, potato dishes from former Soviet countries, etc etc. and if she'd also carried on on a platform of food banks shouldn't have to exist, but if you have had to go to one, here's some ideas for what to do with stuff that doesn't need complicated equipment - no treble slow cookers please - she could have really had a lovely career if she'd arsed herself to work at the recipe development and a bit of basic video making.
I see food creators I follow getting book deals and sponsorships etc all the time - people want to give you money if you put some effort in.
ETA since most people watch shortform content with no sound & captions, even more ideal for guest
add the Patreon with digital only rewards that it makes me incredibly mad she never did and she would have that house by now and through honest work and doing good.
Instead she chose to pretend to do all those things and take 1 million mental selfies instead
