And another thing: where is the horrid fashion for omitting 'to be' coming from? As in - such and such needs *done*??
It's either it needs TO BE done, or it needs DOING. Seriously.
And it's a *glass* of wine, or *some* wine. Never *a* wine, that's not a unit of measurement.
Also, Jack: it's is short for IT IS, its means it BELONGS to it. Hope it clears things up.
Sorry for the grumpiness.
Q: How you console someone (not Jack) about their bad grammar?
Their, They’re, There

Q: How you console Jack about their bad grammar?
You don’t.

Jacks Patreon is at 533 members? Has that gone up?
Patreon’s made changes where you can “follow” someone without paying them.

That’s dialect though, it’s correct to say needs done.

For comparison, Supertanskii raised a grand for her cat’s care in just a few hours. Russincheshire made £20k when a Tory MP sued him (despite having a decent job and owning a Tesla) and both those grifters have half the twitter audience of Guest. They’re also much less pathetic seeming and don’t claim poverty as such, meaning the rage nans are less likely to gunk their winter fuel allowance on them. There’s no way she didn’t absolutely coin it in for Sue Lee.
I think those aren't quite comparisons though as both of those were through actual crowdfunders, no? I think people are far more likely to donate through gofundme and the others than they are to chuck money in someones personal paypal account.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the squigs (including Russ himself) who said they were donating were expecting an actual crowdfunder to appear and then just didn't donate when it didn't. Did she make more than £1500? Possibly. But I don't think it's £20k levels personally - or her paypal would have been locked for potential money laundering (It was her personal paypal) and we'd have all been tweeted to a whine about that.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on that but I think she did raise considerably more than £1,500.

We've gone past 1500 hours of no Twitter posts which is over 2 months. Well past any prior records.

Patreon figures for paid subscribers are still visible in the API the lovely @heretoreaditall2019 uses for her monthly figures.

I don’t know. It sounds like people would often chuck her money through PayPal, so perhaps her getting a huge amount was nothing new. We often forget that in addition to the Patreon she was tin rattling with her personal PayPal for years, something that we’ll never know the amounts of. Looking up the PayPal rules for the UK, there’s no limit on the amount you can receive for a verified account. Even if it was flagged for suspicious activity, she could have got in touch and got it unlocked.

Jack herself asked people to donate to her PayPal to support her Sue Lee nonsense. Her request was retweeted.

Even if this were the case, Jack has double the number of followers that Russ does and it’s evident from the frankly unhinged flying monkeys that a number of those are engaged in a parasocial relationship with her. We also know that plenty of people donated just to see Lee Anderson humiliated, not even because they like Jack. Let’s not underestimate how stupid, tribal and generous people can be.

Even if we do account for a level of scepticism, let’s say Jack made half of what Russ did in a day: that’s still £10k for doing absolutely nothing that she’s spunked at Cotswold Company or put up her nose. When you bump that across the year she pretended she was suing him with absolutely no intention to… I think £20k is a piss in a stream.

I've just got round to reading the link posted in the last thread, thank you to the person who posted it - an article entitled "Are cynical social media influencers exploiting the backlash against online abuse to deflect scrutiny?"

Relevant paragraph:
"One thread was about an activist who makes their living through media appearances, self-branding as representative of the poor. They do indeed seem to have suffered terrible temporary hardship some years ago, but their own extensive social media output reveals a level of comfort and house filled with fancy belongings that I couldn’t stretch to.

Followers frequently offer money to help out, despite struggling to get by themselves in some instances. But the problem is, questioning someone on their lifestyle fuels the old harmful stereotype about benefits and flatscreen TV. Do some influencers profit from taking up identities that are too awkward to question?"

It's good to know that at least one journalist has read, and appreciated what we are doing, and why. But oh I wish there would be a series about Jack and similar people in the mainstream media - this threads archivists have already done the work for them!

I'd love to know what she's been softly, gently, doing behind the scenes to escape scrutiny. Possibly she knows some things about people that they'd like to keep private. I'm not suggesting actual blackmail, just knowing a bit too much or the person involved believing she knows a bit too much.

Hi canal. My shoulder/back has crumbled and the SBs refuse to help with the laundry. Send helpos. I have been trying to catch up whilst being on shift the last few days. Not with the SBs as that’s just life. I’m slightly worried whether she’s still alive or whether she’s binged herself to snow. Are we the only ones that worry about her or is she hiding out at big Dave’s?

Vlad is giving my ads for 6th form colleges. I’m well old. Again, send the bad back police please.

My sibling couldn’t put a coin in the trolley. I never got on with Simon Price, either. Perv.
He’s rank. Was shagging teens in his 40s. Lucky for him he’s not famous enough to get cancelled. Hope the college he works at knows about his tastes.

Forever glomming onto bands with very young members in about 1997. There was another guy called Daniel Booth who was a lot younger, but did the same thing. I never met Price but Booth could be nasty and snotty if you disagreed with him. I think he writes about video games now.

Is this Simon Price the music writer? I always hated his reviews because they were more about him, and him trying to be clever, than the music.

Back to Jack. I do wonder if Curry’s had another promotion with her lined up for Christmas but it’s now been shelved?

Also, it really is amazing how long she’s been off social media, a couple of years ago this would have been inconceivable. Like others I think she’s found another way to get that narc supply, somewhere offline.

Either someone in her family, or through monopolising 12-Step meetings. My guesses anyway.

It will come out eventually where she’s been, it usually does. How many faux “mea culpa” comebacks can she do? I guess we’ll find out.

If you see a smol pixie snaffling a tub of deli chicken with their smol fingers, no you didn't. If you're more disgusted at the smol pixie who can't afford coronation chicken struggling to find something to gently dump on their smol chips than you are at the king whose mum's coronation it was commemorating owning half of England, then your priorities are BAD blah blah whatever it was. (purposes of parody only, no implication intended, etc, no need to call lawyer pal)

I like watching tattoo you tube - tattootube? & was recently reminded that PewDiePie has the same tattoo. Only done by someone who doesn't hate him. LolView attachment 2539460
Where is his bit that looks like a giant weird pen??
