On topic: I am hoping guest’s going to pull one of her “what I think the youngsters wear to festivals” looks together for Greenbelt again, for decency’s sake once again covers up the wonky bum of the boogly eyed skeleton naked lady with a big red sticker, and like some “working class types” she once saw dancing around outside a corner shop in a gritty musical documentary called “Come on Eileen” she unhooks one of her dungaree straps like the fella in the doc.

Guest…. are you there?
As per accept my apologies if someone has already picked up this . I strive to be as funny as the fraus on here but I’m usually guest like on my ability to get with the current zeitgeist ( probably also used that word wrongly as well )

As a new member of the comments club, I'd really like some deets on the (alleged) Emin artwork in guest's bathroom? Has this ever been verified? And does anyone know its provenance? Bought, gifted or found in a puddle?

Cos, if it exists and it was purchased by guest, that outweighs all sideboards and fancy-schmancy watches on the scale of offences against the poor. We don't hear enough about this IMO.

Answers on an onion postcard please.

This is exactly it, I’ve been reading here daily since before last Christmas and picked up a lot of the jokes and chat and history that way, not to mention the wiki (there’s literally a section on in-jokes!). I get why there’d be suspicion on newbies who seem knowledgeable quickly, especially given the subject of these threads, though. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I’ve felt like part of this community for months without being able to interact and now I can it’s fun to just jump right into it. Apologies if it’s a bit much.
Not having a go at any specific account, dear heart - but I am a naturally suspicious cow by nature, and I would bet money that some of the new accounts are guest's socks. I could be wrong, obvs, however she does have form for this.
Anyway, welcome newbies! 😊

It was, as with all guest's possessions apart from those found in puddles, a Gift From A Friend.

Spot on. I sometimes feel very very sorry for her. I have to remind myself that, whatever happened to her, she’s now a lying thieving narcissist grifter that would take Oliver Twist’s last pumble.
Yeah, whenever you start to feel sorry for her, just remember all the times she’s lied in great and triggering detail about all her attempts to unalive herself that are DEMONSTRABLY untrue, complete bleeping lies, and easily refuted by HER OWN words at the time. Oh, and on a platform that by her own admission her son and his friends all read.
That’s just one. There are many, many more.

Gosh that intro is so illustrative of Greenbelt's ingrained snobbery and classism.

"Jack Monroe is a Tory cabinet’s nightmare – a coherent single mother"

Why would that be something unusual and worthy of note unless Greenbelt's view is that single mothers are generally incoherent?

She must make an absolute killing from Greenbelt attendees donating to the tip jar.

At this point they deserve each other.

Aunty Pat’s off to the Rewind Festival. She got her hair done and everything, asking the stylist for a ‘funky do’. Since Dexy’s Midnight Runners are playing she pulled out the dungarees she bought a few years ago in the Debenhams blue cross sale and added a nice sparkly necklace. Last seen waving one arm in the air to UB40 while chugging a can of M&S passionfruit martini.

I feel like... If Jack were amongst us, which she undoubtedly is, in some form, she wouldn't come bounding eagerly in.

She would be fuming silently.

I once lived on the street 🍉 🍉 🍉 where most of that documentary was filmed (though the shop was actually on the corner of the next street along). Lembit Opik MP lived a few doors down. Not very working class, though still a bit down-at-heel by guest's standards.

That's not really an "incredible Jerry Hall" story though, is it, guest? I mean, it has absolutely nothing to do with Jerry Hall at all. It's just about how you've got Jerry's original Emin artwork in your blog. Just an insane embellishment on 'found it in a puddle' really.
I will delete my Tattle account if the original Emin actually exists.

My Gran used to make proggy mats but she never had one in the kitchen.
We did, but that's because it was a farmhouse kitchen with armchairs and sofas in it, and where basically everything in life happened. Never had it by the actual cooker or table though cos... Hygiene and elf n safety, innit?! Plus, you'd never have shifted the pet lambs to be able to cook if the rug had been there. They were often put in the bottom warming oven of the Aga tho if very smol and underweight. (When the cat wasn't lording it in there!)

😂 even better- it was in her effing blog about something she’d read in the paper before she even got the column in the paper! Then when she read about it in the paper, she wrote one of her Brigadier General Insufferable-OldTwat (Retired) letters to the paper to alert Southend (for the second time) to the fact that she’d thought of it first.

Unlike the IPads in the hospitals monitoring patients “moving their bowels” that 24 year old Brigadier General Insfferable-OldTwat (Retired) had the absolute vapours about tho, she was into the idea of TECHNOLOGY in the council chambers because it would directly benefit her.

View attachment 2283969Lol and the article she “wrote back in May on her blog”…? 😂 it’s an article about how she read about it (and herself) in the paper. Stupid insufferable twit. View attachment 2283978
That NHS article 😡😡😡
She does realise that provision of iPads will improve patient care by making things quicker for care providers/clinicians??? Shows how much she knows about the NHS.
And why is she like I SPENT A WEEK IN HOSPITAL AFTER MY SON WAS BORN as if that’s some unheard of medical anomaly??
