As I'm a born again newbie I thought I'd give my origin story & have a wild speculate about her finances & house move.
Read about her in guardian at the start, read the bean burger recipe & some others, figured she must have been utterly desperate to make such incomplete, insufficient, unappealing meals but thought 'good for her for writing about her difficulties so openly & honestly'. ( )
My turning point was the 'i'm an alcoholic' article, I leapt on it as I had alcohol abuse issues myself. It was such utter guff that the scales fell instantly from my eyes. I came to tattle a while later (sarah akwisombe - I nearly signed up with her coaching biz so tattle literally saved me from a scammer - eternally grateful to that thread) bonus was I found Jacks thread. Oh happy day!

I'm firmly of the belief that there is no house move. Never was. She made it up to score a point with someone for some likely imaginary arguement & it got well out of hand. Then she actually started believing it herself & packed a load of boxes. :ROFLMAO:
Also I doubt that that there's any savings etc. I reckon that patreon doesn't bring in as much as is often speculated here, I think the estimate is average 14 quid? I used to work in charity fundraising for individual donors, there is an attitude that 'every little helps' & 'I do my bit'. The impression I often got was that for the donors the act of giving is what was important (& most important is the warm fuzzy the donor gets not the use the charity makes of the donations) so I'm of the view that Jack gets mostly small amounts (3.50 level) as tokens of appreciation. I further think that she got duck all from Grifty Kitchen except for the advance which would have been modest surely? As many media & events fraus have already noted, book festivals don't pay much more than expenses. I'm in two minds about Sue Lee as I think a lot of folk are all talk and no action so whilst they encouraged her they didn't get their wallets out. Had she actually been intending to sue & done a proper legal crowdfunder, making the process and progress clear I think she might have absolutely coined it (i might have chipped in myself for mischief) but also would have had to spend it on a legal case rather than sideboards.
I would eat a vat of peach & chickpea curry with a side of veg peel surprise to know how many copies of grifty kitchen she sold. I think the canal would collectively expire of laughter / shock if this was revealed. x
She might not be a millionaire, but we have identified a minimum of 165,000 spent over the last 9-ish years, which averages 1800 a month. Every month. For 9 years.
Added to the 3300 she claims for her household costs puts her firmly in the top 5% of earners

I hope that more and more people like you become aware of how utterly ruthless this person is when it comes to basically shaking people down, without a moments thought given to just where the money is coming from.
Again, I live in the hope her card is well and truly marked and it won't be much longer before all those who gave money start asking questions.
And totally agree that her forever home will not satisfy her grasping grubby little hands. She's her own worst enemy suff
Well I can no longer brag that I've never been scammed and it just proves that you must pay attention when you're online.
Normally I'm only online for the bits and giggles.
Last year Jenny nums had me nearly peeing myself laughing and I've been doing my pelvic floor exercises since I was eighteen.

I have long since suspected that she is claiming a high rate of PIP benefits too in line with all her 'ailments' and the faux need to have constant support.

Evening All,

Long time reader, delighted to be able to join all you fraus.

Origin story ….. I’d never heard of them until the Katie Hopkins trial and followed on the back of that. That follow lasted less than 48 hours as I grew rapidly bored of their self indulgent whining. Took an instant dislike I’m glad to say.

They kept popping up on my radar and I followed and unfollowed a few times - I wanted to like them and admit that I felt it was because of “all the good” people said they did. But I never saw any evidence of it …… I just saw moaning and drama and endless “me, me, me” tweets.

I can’t pinpoint exactly when but it eventually reached a tipping point when I realised there was just no way their stories were true. Nobody is THAT unlucky ….. and the list of slights, ailments, medical issues and everything else was unfeasible.

And once you realise how nonsense it all is you see it all …… because of course they aren’t working 100 hour weeks, of course they aren’t boiling soap to make shower gel, of course they aren’t constantly being attacked by trolls.

I’ve been reading here for about nine months now and their behaviour has certainly got worse. It still doesn’t feel like the end is close by yet, I think we’ve got a good few swirls of chaos before they go down the plug hole forever. But it’s definitely happening.

I can't see her putting herself through the assessment process plus she posts too many shots of living her best life and that would interest the DWP if somebody was to report her. I certainly wouldn't be that stupid as to post photos balancing on sideboards, etc if I was claiming.

Original cat food eating confession captured by @Marmalade Atkins

Another example of media twisting- that's clearly intended to imply Lee is suggesting cat food as a cheap food for povs. Whereas (from what I gather without having to watch GB) he was winding up the presenter who has dressed up as a cat last week in reference to the story about the schoolgirl. Which story was apparently also untrue and a misinterpretation of a critical thinking debate on gender identity.
Curiouser and Curiouser

How awful of 30p Lee. He’s encouraging people to eat tins of animal derivatives. Whereas our Jack is promoting wholesome ingredients such as these:

Sorry to correct you Krabsy, but bollock sausages are 38% "pork" not 51%
So a bit more vegan.

Loving all the new people.
In short, Guest is a bleep through and through. We're not bleeps though 👍

I wasn't aware we could just call her straight up guest bleep or I might have chosen that as my user name but hey I'm not a bleep, my avatar just looks like one!

She was thinking of herself as a contemporary of his, or in the least, a youthful smexy older woman he could look up to. He probably put her in the same bracket as his slightly weird auntie that his mum insists he's nice to.
Aunty Pat who’s not your real auntie she’s your mums friend?

Hello and welcome to all the new people! Love hearing all your stories. It’s so nice to join in after lurking a while.

I feel like we have to be on our best behaviour now, “don’t mention the walruses! Let’s not start counting things in front of the new people. Quick, hide the Tom Jones gif!”

When I was four I ate cat food and vomited in front of my brother and his extremely good looking friend (they were 16, the friend had a long leather coat and Flock of Seagulls hair and I adored him).

I bet it still tasted better than guest's slop.

I'm a new poster, lurked since November last year but have a very dull origin story. Am I allowed to say that Jack's a bleeping grifting fraud?

So a bit more vegan.
These were the frozen Essentials range sausages. Perhaps they have improved the recipe somewhat? Although they don’t specify which parts of pork you’ll be getting.

The most engaging aspect of the canal is the kindness and civility extended to member s old and new. In real life, I have to stop myself saying tenderstem or grunking. I am often chuckling to myself in the dark and give no apologies for it.
In the past I grew weary of the carry on in certain other establishments and found the difference in tone here to be like finding a really nice pub full of people who arw genial, worldly and probably more than a bit tipsy.

Despite all that I have only been able to watch less than 3 seconds of Boulevard vid.
I have endured the Honk on audio for about the same length before shutting it down.

I did watch the one of her curling g her hair in front of the mirror getting ready for a show and when she did that facial flip flop from Anne of Green Gables into Psycho and back again, my blood froze.
Descriptions of DKL lingreenie and other highlights thus far are simply beyond my rectums gripping capacity. Won't happen. I'd implode. So my thanks to those who can deal with the very real threat these clips pose to any persons physical well being. I wish I had that sort of endurance.
