Thanks to @Griftymcgriftface for the thread title - words by Jack herself: ‘The ~plans~ are going well, it’s the execution that seems to be lacking … plus ca change 🤣
Typing those tildes pained me considerably.

Grifty, you win an air fryer. Jack doesn’t, as she’s already given away two for being ‘specialist equipment’. Never let it be said she doesn’t have her finger on the pulse.

Ok so she came back last night all namaste but it fairly quickly became a ‘go well’ situation. Has she moved? Apparently not, but she’s trash talking both future and present landlords.

Please add to the recap or correct any inaccuracies!

first (maybe)

recap: Jack came back and was 90% zen. to prove she is Very Well and Happy, she showed the hellsite two slopcoctions consisting of fennel, egg and crab (citation needed) paste.

That Man's got a new show of budget cooking airing tonight. But as we all know:

Before St Jack released her book, skint people just? I dunno, didn't eat, or something.

How she has resisted snark tweeting tonight I will never know. She must be handcuffed to a radiator somewhere.

Not sure where this will fall as I just cannot keep up, but did we see this? Guardian letters from January. Go Carol.

Jack has been her very best worst elevenerife self. Including this classic Jack.
Squig: makes mild joke about current affairs
Jack: showcases her famous sense of humour by doing a little snark back AND promoting her fave Asda at the same time.

No copies of GK in my local Asda as of 2100hrs- no empty space/shelf edge ticket either 😁

Had a look at that JE hard cheese she was wittering on about, that's all it's described as- just generic hard cheese. No "flavour may vary week by week" or other nonsense 🤣

I need to get something off my chest, which either makes me tres pov or tres clever…

WTF comte cheese?! (Sorry don’t know where accents are on my iPhone.) Never heard of it in my life, but I did wonder why you were all mithering on the last thread about a C19th philosopher…

Don't worry, dear heart. I'd never heard of it either and am quite the middle class twit nowadays. Or so I thought.

We’ve obviously not made it beyond Waitrose’s freezer aisle. Either that, or we’re too busy playing tennis* to occupy our thoughts with cheese!

*Not sure what’s takes the place of tennis in winter months. Skiing?

Nice to see those who are still huffing the lingering honk back. It just adds to the experience when they pop up with their nonsense.
