Is this Unruly labia thing the product of a frau’s nightmareish dreams after too much Grunka-ing or is it real? She really said that on SM??
It happened. It actually happened.
Can't remember on what platform but she was reminiscing about her days as a tequila shot girl in a nightclub and getting sexually assaulted because she was only wearing knickers.
She said that she had to stuff her unruly labia into 3 pairs of knickers before she went to work.
The mind boggles

The Edinburgh-Glasgow preference is quite interesting. With the poverty cos-play, left-wing SJW side of her, you'd think she'd prefer Glasgow, which has the more working-class/lefty image. Edinburgh has a slightly posher, middle-class image - and its certainly that Edinburgh that she's seeking out, not Trainspotting Edinburgh. (note: both Glasgow and Edinburgh have areas of great wealth and great poverty).
She's not really very good at cosplaying that though as she also likes the idea of herself as media darling: tweeting blue tickers as if they're personal friends and that sort of thing.

She’s gained roughly 500 followers on twitter, since she, um, stopped tweeting shite all day.

Only just found out about this place and felt compelled to register. It is heartening to know that others also see through this awful woman.

Jack Monroe #48 zoom, zoom, zoom, she’s going to Dishoom

(particularly poignant for anyone who’s been to a toddler group in the last twenty years 😬)
I read that to the tune of the Vengaboys' Boom, boom, boom, boom.

Dear all, long time lurker... you are all a truly funny group of individuals and it has been a great distraction from life.

I thought id give an insight in the the ADHD/BDP debate (without making any diagnosis, as it isn't my place). I myself have an ADHD diagnosis, however originally the doctor wasn't sure whether it was either ADHD or BDP (one of the best in their field), he said I will not make a decision until we try medication. Woman especially older can be particularly difficult to diagnose as in some cases they present the same, the difference however is in ADHD, medication can suppress emotion disregualation, whereas in BDP this "tends" not to be the case... I dislike doctors who easily give out labels (especially in women) without exploring if impluse control medications, (which in some cases can prevent misdiagnosis) can be helpful to certain individuals.
I was diagnosed late, and medication has changed my life, and I have found on meds I am able to prevent the emotional dis-regualtion side, to a degree!
What I really dislike, is when people who have a platform use their diagnosis as an excuse for their behaviour. If I blamed things on my diagnosis I would be sacked. I cannot use ADHD as an excuse. It can make life harder, but it isn't an escape goat for behaving a certain way!!! - if they are on medication (I don't want to use names), then it should be helpful - if it isn't changing their behaviour or making life easier, it isn't working and shouldn't be continued.
have I made sense?!
Lots of love to all of you! :)

Welcome. I am a Radio 4 bore but heard two women being interviewed this morning who have campaigned against, and won, the government u-turn in March on the issue of free fresh fruit and vegetables for young school children. The other day a disabled single mother of two made news by getting the law changed for people renting on Housing Benefit. A 22 (?) year old footballer embarrassed the government into providing free school meals allowances over the summer (just one of the marvellous things that Marcus Rashford has done).

All directly in our dear heart Jackie's niche but what has she achieved? Nothing, nada, zilch, nowt, nix, not a bleeping dicky bird.

I've thought the same. No way she's 'Glasgow', she's more 'living in an expensive Leith appartment, talking about it as if it's the Banana flats'

Just had a snoop. Found out the address of Jack’s childhood home. She grew up in a five bedroom detached house. Oh the
100% agree with this and thank you for posting this, you've put it much better than I ever could.

I was originally drawn to Jack because I thought she genuinely cared about people in poverty having been there herself. Yes I could see early on that she was a bit messy and chaotic, but I think I saw a little bit of myself in her, I suffer with a lot of the same issues she says she does, and yes I did feel an awful lot of empathy for her most of the time in the early days. Her behaviour during lockdown though, and having found these threads on tattle (I joined for Hinch, stayed for Jack) really opened my eyes. I find her extremely triggering, in fact I can't think of anyone I havent met before making me so emotionally affected, ever.

Like I say, I think the main reason I find her so triggering and actually very dangerous to people's MH, including my own, is because I'm sure I'm not the only one who initially saw themselves in Jack. Her behaviour though and her blaming it on her neverending list of ailments, really upsets me more than anything else, and when people suggest she suffers with BPD for example, it almost enrages me because I think, no I'm not like that, don't label me like Jack! I'm sure she does have issues and many of them and I'm pretty sure she self diagnoses instead of getting proper help, but I do believe she is actually just not a nice person so it's unforgiveable that she blames physical and MH issues for her behaviour. There is enough stigma around, especially with personality disorders, without her having them and not being treated correctly or just being an asshole and blaming it on MH.

I hope this makes sense.
Hi lovely, yes it makes total sense! You have described how I feel too. Mental Health issues like every other issues in the world impact everyone across the board.
Part of being a grown up is taking responsibility for our words, actions and behaviour. Another poster has commented that it is like Jack is stuck in that crappy teenage phase, and I think that is more like it as far as her behaviour goes, she does not want to grow up and take responsibility for her life.

She has to create a story or drama behind every single thing. I think her implying she is intersex probably just comes from her having large / ‘unusual’ labia, and of course she can’t be one of the many women who don’t have stereotypical pornstar labia - she has to dramatise it
She implied she was intersex when she was in her trans phrase, and simultaneously trolling Mumsnet’s gender critical contingent and offering herself up for AMAs. She said she had genital abnormalities (never mind the fact she’d given birth so is unequivocally female). But, of course, it isn’t even abnormal so 🤷‍♀️

Edit: sorry, I’m catching up with this thread and someone before me said the same thing 😄
