No, she has known people who have had cancer, and also at least one person who ended their own life. But she’s shown many many times, and this is probably the clearest example for lurkers so far, that she’s simply not like a normal person in how she views other people. She has to centre herself, and other people’s feelings either don’t register or, worse, don’t matter. (And no, that’s not ‘an ASD thing’, before she dares to suggest it - love from someone properly diagnosed with ASD.)That's why I think she personally has never been touched by cancer or suicide.
