I haven't squigged David Oliver because he has over 60k followers. He hasn't responded to any of the responses to him that I can see. I hope he does look into it further to understand why it matters when a public figure isn't transparent about charity fundraising and fundraising in general. Transparency and candour are part of the code of conduct for medics so I'm sure he understands the importance, even if he hasn't applied that to his view of Jack yet....

I have to say I do feel a bit sorry for Jack’s mum that her roasties are now a punchline. They don’t look like the best ones ever but I also don’t think they look dire and, crucially, Mama H isn’t posing as a cook (and presumably didn’t intend for them to be shared on Twitter to thousands of people).

Jack’s reaction shows Jack up to be the hole she is, but if “Jack’s mum’s potatoes” keeps being used as a default mocking reaction I think it’s getting to the stage on Twitter where it’s just going to add fuel to her fire of “people bullying her family”. Which of course she’s caused in this case but still…

so let me get this straight… it’s fine to plead poverty to solicit money from people (often from those who can least afford it), refuse to disclose information about charity donations, lie repeatedly about things that can be easily disproven and take money off people for almost 2 years for a service that she hasn’t provided… as long as she’s not a QAnon conspiracy theorist?
