If you haven't done so already, take a day off work and read the Wiki (pink button at the top of the page).
Here are some general rules
- if you share screenshots, disguise (squiggle) all usernames that haven't got blue ticks
- we usually share mainly sreenshots of Jack's own words (and her interactions with others), not so much other Twitter users talking about Jack (unless highly relevant)
- some aspects of Jack's life have been discussed a lot on these threads and tend to derail things (her sexuality, gender, family relationships). It's perhaps best to avoid those (or use the search function if you want to read up on what has been said)
- we mainly try to expose her grift and have a laugh
- if you are on Tattle, you can't interact with her on other platforms
- we know Jack has sock accounts, but unless you are great at finding them and have skills to confirm whether they really are socks, it's best not to mention them here (again, derails the thread and can genuinely be quite harmful when we are wrong about socks)
- we don't use her old name. She's changed her name to Jack Monroe a long time ago and it's her legal name
- we don't all have the same views and politics, but we try to be respectful to each other
- if you spot a post you think is not on, use the report button. Mods can deal with it
- if you have a post removed or get a warning, don't be upset. Happens to the best of us and it's often not that deep (perhaps thread started derailing or you made an honest mistake about something)

it’s been a long month
I’m about to renovate the bathroom in our flat (well, wickes are) but now I feel like I need to go find some haters to really motivate me into doing it well? So hard to get things done when you’re not being hounded by trolls.
Who is she ranting about?
As others have said, this all reeks of a growing realisation that Jack is having - that she's being quietly cancelled. She's become so toxic as a person and brand that even being adjacent to her opens people up to being scrutinised themselves, hence the quiet retreat. I reckon give it a couple of weeks and a new Undelete search will result in plenty more people having deleted all reference to her.
Without media appearances and celeb endorsements, the halo effect/brand rub/implied trust/established authority fades, and coupled with the cost of living crisis biting, I'm predicting lots more Patreon cancellations at renewal.
That'll probably result in an absolute public meltdown, 'the trolls have destroyed everything I built' etc etc and a bit more emotional manipulation just because it's Jack Monroe snd that's her main skillset.
It's interesting to note that more and more grifters and frauds who use the Contrepreneur Formula as their process are being publicly burned right now as long term evidence gathering through the pandemic comes home to roost. Jack had a slightly different tack, but the techniques and pillars of manipulation were identical, hence why once one layer us unpeeled, the rest becomes more obvious. I'm all for it - her downfall will create space for a more deserving and valid voice to fight for people in need

I realise it's been several hours but I'm still not over this morning's slop.
She really needs either a GC or a right wing pile on to rustle up a proper flying monkey army. The regulars can only do so much and as awful as it is watching them tear into a vulnerable person or low follower count individuals as we have seen recently, they're not capable of shutting down everyone asking questions. Even the academic they were trying to get sacked for being mean to ickle Jack Jack seems to have emerged unscathed from a torrent of unpleasant abuse. Without a big culture war issue Jack is pretty much down to that Wonky fly person playing Annie Moore to her Jim Jones.

I can't remember, it was either imaginary quote tweeters who are dissing SB's bedroom or it's the other imaginary person who was telling her to kill herself all weekend
All weasel words. She never said she didn't *use* or *have* shampoo, just that she hasn't bought any for two years. Could be a stockpile, could be gifts/freebies, could be hotel minis. But of course, the impression she wants you to get is that she can't afford it.
She's really digging herself a hole by not being straightforward in her language. Everything is said for maximum pity impact and to make you think she's really struggling (oh look at my empty bank accounts, so poor! I haven't bought shampoo for two years!) yet it just opens her up to criticisms about spending money on other things and another round of mad justifications and sniping. By always ramping everything up to 11, she's just creating more of the drama and attention she craves.
