I think its a bit of both. She bleeping tragic. Pet youre getting old, no amount of botox, teenage clothing, hair dye is going to change that, just own it.

I am the same age as her, luckily i have no greys yet and the only wau i keep wrinkles away is my moisturizing twice a day all over. Takes 5 mins pet. I dont care that much about getting old, but i still take pride in myself.

I’ve worked in a welfare-adjacent role for a few years now. My first meeting, after I left I couldn’t stop ranting about how tit and unfair things were but had the self awareness not to be like Jack about it all and realised my colleagues had already been there, done that and were at the pragmatic, solution focus stage.
The last couple of months it has been hard as the pragmatism now has a real fear attached, we can’t really say “we’re ducked” when being professional but I’m bloody worried for everyone in this field and how we’ll keep it together for people. Again, none of us pontificate on Twitter about it (while rattling a tip jar) because we’re not bleeping ghouls.

Because apparently it's OK to cosplay someone having chemo if you are waiting for test results. And it's none of anyone's business that she shared this photo with all of twitter.

For me the worst bit about the 'friendly oncologist' tweet is that most people don't have half a million followers to just be able to put out "surely there's a 'friendly' oncologist (I'm a celeb don't you know) within my multi-Glasto crowd size following, where are you so I can avoid going to the GP and queuing like a poor". Seems unhinged and she really doesn't understand how the majority of these tweets can be taken outside of her echo chamber, it really microwaves my pears.

You're a total disgrace. You don't deserve to be around that child. Do you have any idea how traumatic it is to lose a parent? No, you don't, because you're 34 and yours are still here. You said you didn't tell anyone but two friends, not even your son. You also say he reads your tweets. You wanted to pay him to run your account. To put that information out there for him to find like that is beyond disgusting. Delete those tweets. Delete your account. Wipe your entire online presence for the sake of that child or don't be surprised when you lose access to him. Give everyone their money back, go to therapy and get a bleeping job.

She didn't actually want a 'friendly oncologist', she just wanted to breadcrumb the idea that she may have cancer to her adoring audience. She really is despicable.

Similar experience to me, but also that the staff are desperately worried about their own situations as well.

I will forever hold dear the anonymous people who would push an envelope through my parent's door with a supermarket voucher in when my Dad was unemployed in the '90's. I guess I didn't realise/ appreciate it at the time but there were a lot of people looking out for us and me. (By anonymous I mean I don't know who they were, my Mum probably did)

Agree. It was both narcissistic (look at me and all my followers) and manipulative ( pressurising any oncologist to step forward in their genuinely limited free time) . Plus there are loads of good charities that can provide support and helplines. It was completely performative and unnecessary.
