It's really a letter just to us, anyway, isn't it? Her core group of fans. So we can update our records. Why would anyone else be interested? Now I think about it, she missed a trick by not tying it to lockdowns and COVID, at least that way there would be some sort of relevance for a wider audience, because I'm sure she won't have been the only one to have buckled under the pressure of the last 18 months or so.
It really is the least relatable article ever, isn't it? Given all the things going on in the Jackniverse that could have impacted Diva's readership like social isolation, family breakdown, shielding, loss of income, unreliability of the post office, food poverty, financial literacy, overfishing, food distribution chain issues, Brexit, small business and freelancer bailouts or lack of, mental health and addiction issues exacerbated by lockdown, including the fact that you can get alcohol delivered to your door within 2 hours for 99p? I wonder what someone reading it cold would make of the article. How does it chime with an activist persona?

I didnt think rehabs had mother hens because i thought everyone was supposed to be equal?!
That's what I thought, Lanie, centring indispensable Jack in the thick of the action again. Leaving out the casual sexism, it conjures up the notion of someone sticking their nose in where it doesn't belong, and assuming a role that isn't theirs to take. I certainly wouldn't think it was any sort of compliment if someone said it about me.

One thing that I don't understand is how any of this is relevant to Diva's readership? Jack's rambling, tedious essay doesn't appear to have anything to do with lesbian issues. No wonder their numbers are down if they just print random oversharing essays from extremely minor celebs...

(I mean, obviously we all know that she pitched it to the Guardian and got turned down, but bleeping hell, Diva are clutching at straws...)

Thanks for ruining titmas, Jack. I must admit after reading the article I did feel dreadful. Inarguably I've gone to greater lengths than anyone else here to poke fun at her. While I do actually have some kind of moral standards and there are limits on what I consider it acceptable to make fun of via Slopbot, it could perhaps be construed as mean-spirited bullying. Equally though I would hope that someone here would tell me if I had crossed a line. It just doesn't make me feel good to have potentially contributed to someone having a horrible time. I don't know, I haven't slept properly for an entire pandemic and I'm dressed like a burglar so combined with post-titmas dysphoria I'm feeling very morose in general. I almost want Sardine Jack back. Almost.

Apologies I’ve raced ahead so if I’m repeating what’s already been said my apologies.

Firstly love to the Fraus she’s triggered or upset in anyway. I think I must be an awful person because I read the article and my conscience came knocking asking “do you (me) feel bad for this after all your comments have contributed in a way?” And my honest answer is no I don’t. I don’t know if that’s because we’ve heard/seen this article before albeit in different guises. Don’t get me wrong I don’t wish Jack harm but I’m just a bit “yeah ok” about it all.

Secondly all of this came to a head on or around her birthday but I distinctively remember her tweeted her mum bought her a caterpillar cake and the Mary Poppins woman and how this brought her joy.
Then her parents didn’t know she’d relapsed but doesn’t her mum follow her on Twitter?

The thing with Jack is it’s always someone else’s fault. This thread could cease tomorrow and she’d still find a problem with someone or something else.

I can hand on heart say I’ve never reported Jack to any organisation especially the CPS- and I’m pretty sure no one else on here has either. This is the thing about posting your life on an open Twitter account and saying your young son was left alone watching over an unconscious you. You can’t control who views that. You’d think all this therapy might of addressed that but looking at the fish posts I’m guessing not.

Pages behind, but hi jack or a 'hijack' of a thread, again?
Fishy, and not just of the advent calendar kind
I'm laughing but I do think it was genuinely him! the style of his posts was similar to his tweets

I'm not invested y'all, just nosy

the lad sure has drawn a *lot* of butts

This. Lots of people have said that due to lockdown they had been drinking more, eating more, spending more. I actually know of a few people who's marriages have ended due to it.

Lockdown is and has caused loads of issues for people rather than addressing hers in consolation with them she's is playing her woe is me card.

I am glad shes in a good place but perhaps she could be a bit more selfless

Someone has done another fundraiser to donate copies of tin can cook to food banks. Have the poors not suffered enough?

It's really annoying because, as usual, the funds will be going straight into Jack's pocket. Just donate the money directly to the foodbank FOR FOOD instead of making them take Jack's book!

Yeah, I would have thought the trussell trust would know better what is needed. If we do have one of the talked about food shortages over Christmas they could be seriously impacted so I’m sure they would rather have food than the book. You can’t eat paper!

Someone I follow has set up a go-fund-me has just done this too (probably same person!)
I really like them but am seriously considering unfollowing for fear of not being able to stop myself tweeting...

*eta ... oh ffs, I've just looked and she's raised enough for nearly 500 copies of TCC.
Kerching for Jack 🤬🤬🤬🤬

To paraphrase Freud (which I am qualified to do, according to a proper university made out of red bricks and everything), sometimes an hole is just an hole.
And if i may paraphrase James Whitcomb Riley, “If it looks like an hole and sme…..” Oh no, hang on. 😬

don't feel bad. all of us who've done anything creative on these threads are only using the source material that she's supplied herself.

slopbot in all his guises is probably the best thing to come out of these threads ❤

Slightly off topic and again apologies if this lands amongst a serious chat but did anyone watch the chase tonight? What is the translation of Hausfrau? was a question 😂

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, just one of the haterz. Stuff like Slopbot, or counting chairs gets Jack right off the hook, it’s not even about her any more at that point, makes us look less serious and quite bonkers

Has anyone even tweeted Jack today about the Diva article? She made such a huge song and dance about titmas online that the fact she hasn’t tweeted all day and hasn’t been basking in the glory of it all is strange.

She also knows (because she’s manipulative) how it would make some folk on Tattle feel and this was her desired effect. She is a toxic, narcissistic hole. I didn’t feel one ounce of sympathy for her when I read the article, it was really hard when it’s all me me me again. Even using her son as a prop. She talks and acts like she’s 16 and learning what big words mean but not quite grasping it. She thinks she’s a spokesperson on poverty or food banks or politics or the government because some fool at the Guardian used her once to fill column inches. I cannot stand her. The cosplay is too much, the fact she can’t even admit when she’s wrong, nothing is her fault. It’s this echo chamber she lives in, until she gets out of it nothing will change. She infantilises herself then the next day behaves like a 70 year old with her choices of words. It’s all a play, she doesn’t even know herself what is real and what is lies.

Tattle isn’t the cause of anything bad in her life, it’s the fact she isn’t comfortable being her. And until you learn to love yourself, these lies and these issues will never go away.

havent properly caught up and not going to bother reading the article but judging by twitter Jack’s repetitive, self indulgent, self pitying drivel was definitely received by an absolutely gripped audience 👍

So sorry about Jack's treatment of you, lovely. Didn't she also name you in thread 31? She really is a bleeping ghoul x

She did indeed. Fortunately I only have a shortened version of my first name on there, but my profile is a perfectly valid, normal one. Lots of tweets about my beloved football club, my own photos and itwas taken over by rabid ‘fans’. They wished me dead, said they’d kill me. For a day or so I was horrified at the amount of vile tweets I received for asking a perfectly legitimate question.

I don’t feel an ounce of guilt or shame for what I’ve said on here. Everything is based on things she puts in the public domain, if she stopped with the word vomit, we would have absolutely nothing to talk about on here!
