Education is an excellent idea. But Jack, as usual is setting herself up to fail.

Wouldn't her 12 steps teach her to set up realistic expectations (for herself as well as other people)?

It's a big thing to jump into, especially after so many years away from education. I wouldn't feel comfortable going straight into a degree course because it's been years since I went to uni and how they do things will have changed. Even going directly from school was too much for me ('wonky head' as Jack would say!) I had a total wobble, quit, worked for a few years, and went back in my 20s to do something different.

I'm not wishing her any badness, but studying brings it's own set of challenges to things.

I also felt momentarily sorry for her. I think I do feel sorry for her, however her ongoing behaviour doesn’t help her one little bit.
a TV presenter comes from the same estate as me. She has private and public SM. I know this because some people I went to primary with are friends with her. It’s not under her full real name but a variation so not obvious.
Could Jack do that, of course she could, would she, would she duck. How else is she going to share every tiny aspect of her life and then complain people know every tiny aspect of her life.

Also, ‘nutritionist’ is fairly meaningless, anyone can set themselves up as one. NHS only use dieticians.

Most if not all top flight footballers have private and public IGs and I’m sure Marcus will too. The public ones show training, photos from during a game etc - y’know stuff people follow them for. If I’m following a TV chef, I don’t expect or want to see they’re monster munch feet in the snow.

I was saying the exact same point to Mrs T, in trying to explain Thursday night’s (Friday morning’s) tattleathon.

Nigel Slater, Nigella, Ina - even putting aside for the moment the fact that their food and literary content is far superior than Jack’s, none of them post inappropriate stuff on Twitter or Instagram. In fact, Nigella goes into painstaking detail on how to link to her bio for every recipe. Everything is done to look appetising and fit the foodie niche. No off-topic feet pic or Mary Poppins get-up.

Yes!!! The only vulgar thing is her lack of personal standards/boundaries, especially irt SB, it’s tragic as it’s all in the pursuit of money. I know reality tv is pop culture & I’m a huge reality fan but this article is worse than that, it’s like the very worst of trauma mining that no channel could even air it’s bizarre - and all this put out in the public domain forever for a few hundred quid / low thousands? It couldn’t be me soz hun x

I’m always reading along but don’t comment often but if I get a hat I may as well!! Wow the Diva article is a huge let down. More of the same. No self reflection and more blaming everyone else. I hope she’s not working with patients at the rehab. I went to uni as an adult myself and it’s not easy to adjust and be humble and learn the way they want you to do things. Let’s just hope she doesn’t complain about her course online because I don’t think that would go down well with most institutions and teachers. Can’t wait!
