don’t get me started on why they changed it to sulfate.... my marking never caught up 😟.

she says in the recipe you can change chicken for a portobello mushroom if you are vegan or veggie. Is it just me or is the thought of a mushroom cooked in Diet Coke absolutely 🤢🤢🤢🤢?
I believe we got to keep aluminium in return for giving up our sulfates. I hate it, but have to label that way now as its not correct otherwise

Actually it can, and it's lovely. You put star anise in it so it tastes quite chinese, I serve ours with noodles or rice. But mine doesn't look like hers
Completely honest question here before I waste mushrooms. Could it work with portobellos with star anise etc?

Where's her mate, surely they can help
She’s just hoping someone will spot ‘mantrums’ and she’ll go viral. I’ve said it a thousand times but what a life.

What the actual duck. My god she literally is the most boring person in the world. Even her theories are BORING!!! Who actually cares if he has a codename or not. He's James bond. Can someone tell her the real secret. He was made up for a story book?!

For it to work with mushrooms, I'd make the sauce separately and add sautéed mushrooms at the end so that they get coated in the sauce but don't absorb too much liquid. I'd use onions and peppers in the sauce itself as they will withstand a hard simmer to reduce the sauce.

Thankyou 😏. So, once again you have to radically alter her recipe to make it edible.

I've looked at her recipe, the reason its greasy is she uses skin on chicken, and then frys it in more oil.

I used to cut my chicken into strips rather than chunks, it looks better with the veg. You have to boil it hard at the end to reduce your sauce down, it will thicken if you have patience. I used to take my veg out and pop then back in at the end as we like texture in our food

Personally I think it would be totally rank
To clarify, if you do it the jack way or would be rank, it you do it the way that's been suggested on here it should be fine. Sorry if I came over a bit harsh

This is a staple in my meal rotation and always goes down well with the rest of the family. Dunno what the duck she did to hers to make it look like Diet-curd tubes with added curd sauce

My mum pulled a splinter out of my foot once that was an actual small stick. It was massive and I was about 5 and I made less of a fuss that she is.

So far that I’ve seen she’s nicked from Slimming World:
Carrot cake overnight oats
Diet-cola chicken
Baked oats
Corn mash

any other large club cult members on here noticed any more to add to the list? (And I call it that in complete jest as I am a fully paid up member of the cult for ages now and do think it’s a great support community)
