Splintergate: pics or it didn't happen!

Diet Coke chicken: Nigella did ham in Coca Cola. It does not work with Diet Coke as you need the sirupy sweetness (I know I sound pretentious now) to make it work. Can't be done with artificial sweetener.

Oh, you guyzzzzz, I just understood why Jack hides behind this political persona despite having little to no grasp of the most basic political theories: it’s because she gets to be a combative little twit in a divisive sphere that many people care about, thus bringing attention (whether negative or positive; it matters not).

Politics is potentially one of the only areas (outside maybe football 🙄) in which one can be wholly partisan and tribal, thus justifying gobbing off and abusing people for thinking differently. It really doesn’t work with something as inconsequential as film trivia, huh? She’s showing her a. She just can’t help arguing night when it’s day.

Anyway, I’ll just leave this here...https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oppositional_defiant_disorder

Jack, as you read, I will give you a tip. Put some germolene, or other antiseptic ointment, on the splinter area, cover with a plaster and leave for a day. Remove plaster tomorrow and repeat if the splinter hasn't been drawn out.

How has someone got to the age of 32 and thinks there's a need to go to a pharmacy to deal with a splinter? Surely she has some germolene or savlon in the house....sorry, bungalow.
Or buy some magnesium sulphate paste if her comprehensive home pharmacy doesn’t already have some 🙄 wack it on followed by a plaster

Frauen, help me out. I have been eyeing up that cannelini buerre blanc for ages, I can’t stop looking at it, it’s like a horrible scab, I don’t think I’ll ever settle until I’ve made it. So having said that, I have some really nice local greens - chard, kale, not much of any. I would usually cook these in good olive oil with chilli flakes, garlic and salt, then throw them into pasta with beans. However, I am thinking about cooking them separately tomorrow evening on the side of the pasta/bean thing.
Like this post for the buerre blanc, wow this post to say stop it you idiot.
I have weighed both sides of the argument forensically and am going to have to spoil my ballot.

it will be bleeping sepsis by the morning.
I can't wait for the photos from Southend's A&E featuring a Tiggy + Bo bag and Jack clutching a piece of brown paper saying 37 degrees. I TOLD YOU I WAS POORLY.

There are a depressingly large number of people drawn to political activism (even the largely pointless online kind) who are using it to work through their psychological flaws rather than out of genuine interest in a particular cause. Jack is an absolute classic example of this, hence why she has to centre herself and constantly bang on about her suffering.

I know her family are minted and she has a decent income but I would honestly kick in to any crowdfunder that raised funds to put her entire family in therapy until she gets over whatever it is that causes her to resent her parents and the opportunities they've given her so much.

Do we reckon this silence means she's sulking or is she frantically researching Bond fan theories on Reddit trying to break the internet with one like she did with the plagiarised "haunted Victorian coat rack"

shameless thief, but that looks dry and dripping in grease at the same time.
I don't know how it's ended up like that, I make it all the time (sw recipe) and mine doesn't look like that, mine looks and tastes delicious

There she goes, living her best life 😂

What have you lot been up to today? Fella and I went on a lovely 3 hour walk. Sun was shining, nice and warm. He's back in London for work now but it was such a beautiful day out 😍
Picked the last of our olives, had a veggie roast for tea (our potatoes didn't take 3 hours in the oven a la dusty Greek auntie) and eagerly awaiting evidence of the life threatening splinter.

It's sulfate here now in afraid (I'm a scientist, triangulate me)

Diet coke chicken is a much loved slimming world recipe, along with Fanta chicken and vimto chicken. How can she claim that, it's been doing the rounds for years
don’t get me started on why they changed it to sulfate.... my marking never caught up 😟.

she says in the recipe you can change chicken for a portobello mushroom if you are vegan or veggie. Is it just me or is the thought of a mushroom cooked in Diet Coke absolutely 🤢🤢🤢🤢?

Actually it can, and it's lovely. You put star anise in it so it tastes quite chinese, I serve ours with noodles or rice. But mine doesn't look like hers

Yea, but you've got to put a ton of it on, the lady pharmacists said so.

Those Bond tweets read like they are from a nerdy teenager. One that thinks they know everything about a subject but gets it spectacularly wrong. Arguing with someone about a fictitious character, what the hell for, is she 13 or 32? It was embarrassing reading them, why doesn't think it is cringeworthy writing them shows? It shows how little self awareness she has.
