He‘s definitely read
Love it when they dance as we command on here.
If he is accepting money for adverts and directing his viewers to things they can purchase because he is promoting it- then he is an influencer.Fair play to him but his posts, photos and actions say otherwise, especially about wanting to be an influencer and prioritising social media. Time will tell I guess
I feel like studytubers are caught between a rock and a hard place re: how much of their life to share and how much of it to make their brand. They are just another "flavour" of influencer, but because most of them started young, in school, it was a lot less about the lifestyle aspect and more of the studying/school content. But, as they and their viewers inevitably leave education there is a gaping hole where a lot of the content would have stemmed for, hence the turn to more lifestyle-ish/bookish content. It’s probably not for me to question someone’s intentions, but it seems to me that a lot of influencers make a platform for themselves by sharing their life online and then moan something chronic when people ask questions or hold them to account.
(Rant over!)
Don't know if you've gotten a decision yet, but good luck! I remember stalking the Cambridge TSR forums and refreshing the portal every 5 secondsI’ve applied for a masters at Oxford so I’ve been keeping up with TSR postgrad discussion. Oxford did release all of the English results in the past week or so...
He could well have done. Even then I think it's somewhat healthy for him to maybe take a step back from the masters applications and focus on something else for a year rather than spending another year on applications.By the way notice he didn't say that he didn't apply for a masters this year. So I guess he's been rejected again...

Thanks! I think I’ll find out in the next week so I’ll be glad to see the back of TSRDon't know if you've gotten a decision yet, but good luck! I remember stalking the Cambridge TSR forums and refreshing the portal every 5 seconds![]()
Oh in that screenshot he does mention he wasn’t rejected again. I hate it when influencers put their fans on blast like that.He could well have done. The only bit I didn't like was his comments on the screenshot of the comment he posted. They were just asking a question. I know we aren't entitled to any details of his life he doesn't want to share, but when you put parts of your life online and there's gaps people will ask questions about the gaps to make sense. Whether he wants to answer them is down to him but he shouldn't get frustrated by people asking imo
Imagining wanting to be locked in a flat alone in London during lockdown though??? I get sometimes you need your own space but bloody hell, I'd want people around me.And now he’s back in London?
I get he lives alone but now he’s had enough of his parents and wants his own space he just goeswhy can’t people just stay put? Talk about unnecessary.
As someone who has a partner that works away during the week, I’d never want to be by myself ever again during the pandemic and I’m screwed because I can’t have a bubble because I’m not a single person, reckon he’ll travel back to his family home when he gets sick of London. I think he thinks he’s better than his family, still confused why he didn’t make a video of moving back in with his family and redecorating his “childhood bedroom” like put a double bed in there, talk about what it’s like, but again too relatable for our above the rest of us jack EdwardsImagining wanting to be locked in a flat alone in London during lockdown though??? I reckon he'll keep his family as his support bubble and travel down from London to home whenever he wants like he did last time which is just ugh... especially since he has to take the train.
That's understandable but in lockdown 2 Jack showed himself travelling from London to home almost every Sunday to see his family. They're his support bubble, so it's not illegal. But there is guidance how far you should travel atm and London to Sussex would definitely be over that. I just hope he doesn't do that this time because it's so much worse out there atm and if he wants to see his parents he could have just stayed at home there was no need to move to London rnTbf I live alone and I can't imagine living with someone during a pandemic. Yes there's the odd moment of loneliness but generally I'm glad I don't have someone constantly there 24/7ive rarely been bored.
I could have moved in with my mum but we didn't think that would do either of us any good.
Yes I agree. I don't live that far from my mum and we are a bubble (10 min drive at most). I wouldn't travel that far regularly. That's understandable but in lockdown 2 Jack showed himself travelling from London to home almost every Sunday to see his family.
