You also shouldnt listen to influencers unless they are authentic and have shown numerous times that they use a certain product. I have no issue with influencers being paid to promote, as long as they are honest and authentic about it. Not just because someone's given them some money.

I would only ever be tempted to look at a promoted item if I know the influencer already uses it (as evidenced by non-sponsored appearances in videos/insta etc.). Random promotion of new items makes me think: "That's out of the blue, where did the interest in this product come from?" The answer is the pay check, which then turns me off of the product. Another example is Eve Bennett promoting Fabletics (or whatever brand of athleisure wear it is), when she's never mentioned an interest in exercise/fitness at all.

Just bought himself another designer bag!
I feel like we will really see jack true colours in the coming year (much more so than we have done) he’s managed to keep this semi “wholesome” appearance up because he’s a study tuner who wouldn’t go down to London all the time, but with the types of youtube friends he’s made and seems to have become associated too, that shows, more than anything the type of person he is (he’s very pally with the social climbers and Anastasia kingsnorth)

I wonder how it will be possible for his channel to be sustained without the Studytube element, unless he reinvents it with a new emphasis. I think there will be younger students coming through who will want someone they can relate to, who has recent student experience. Although it may not have been the initial motivation, it seems obvious to me that most Studytubers are only producing content for the financial rewards.

He was always going to become irrelevant as he aged out of student age but with Covid its fast forward that. His content is already out of date

I was only thinking today that he's definitely not uploading as often, probably because of a lack of ideas. Can't do studytube content if you aren't studying anymore...

Says he doesn’t have WiFi in the flat, and at one point his 4G ran out, he also claimed he deleted a load of vlog clips aka he can’t be arsed to make content

That's a lot of excuses! He must feel very under pressure to do... well... anything on his channel.

Loads of places in London to use wifi and upload. No excuse.

Also, what I meant by him being irrelevant is not so much his new content, but all his previous stuff is going to have less relevance to modern students in the covid era

Despite not getting onto a masters... he’s a master of putting responsibility of his mismatched planner as far away from him as possible

He’s literally selling his sloppy seconds planners...

Have the people affected been given a new planner? If it was me, I would be far from impressed. It’s probably too late now for replacement planners this academic year. What is the masters application?

Flogging the defective planners for charity - nice. /sarcasm

For someone who was avoiding solving the issues with his planner a few months ago, he's making out like he's sooo generous and intelligent for doing this.

Jack becomes more insufferable each time I take a look at what he’s doing/saying. Those defective planners are an embarrassment, why sell them? Recycle them!

I’m sorry but does he actually think he has a good fashion sense. What the hell is the outfit in his latest Instagram pictures (the ad with Experian) ????

I’m all for people experimenting with fashion and finding their vibe but Jesus Christ, does jack realise that throwing some clashing patterns on doesn’t count as ‘fashion’? And I’m sick of seeing influencers jumping on the thrifting bandwagon, it makes it more expensive for people that are doing it for the right reasons

Also, can’t believe he’s got the nerve to do an ad with Experian and lecture people about credit scores when he hasn’t had any financial hardship in his life and can afford to live in central London while he’s unemployed

Idk I find his latest outfits quite nice. I think his taste has improved greatly lately.

I think it's the trousers and their fit that really don't help.plus his seeming insistence to take photos looking up at him. Not sure if he is trying to appear taller but it's not a great angle

A lot of men do the 'under the chin' photo angle, probably because it emphasises the jaw and makes them look more masculine. It's not a look though, sorry, even on the hottest guy!

It's weird as a guy myself I'd never do it, I learnt early on that it's an unflattering angle and doesn't have that effect.
