I wish he would just commit to staying in London and get a nice apartment with his friends he seems so much more himself when he’s home, the Paris facade is so shallow and empty and fooling no one, he always does things because he feels like he should (eg reading certain books, travelling bc he’s young and that’s what he should be doing) instead of finding out what he actually wants to do
There are some YouTubers who absolutely thrive in that abroad city lifestyle eg. Nathaniel Drew but Jack, as a booktuber rather than a lifestyle YouTuber is clearly not cut for it. Would be much more on brand for him to get a cottage in the Lake District or something.
I'm so annoyed his new video is a book of the month ad, unless it's changed recently, they're not available outside the US. And I get that he probably has quite a few American followers but still, he has a strong UK and European audience (I'd assume) and he doesn't even care it's not available here?
