It amazes me that in an increasingly secular society, so many people subscribe to (and base 'rights' on) statements of pure faith, with no material proof, i.e. "transwomen are women" and "transmen are men". Transphobia is such a flimsy concept, and such an easy accusation to throw around, precisely because it is based on these weak statements.

So it’s ok for women to be threatened with grape, murder and doxxing, but stating an immutable biological fact like how men literally cannot become women gets you labelled as a hateful terf & a bigot and results in said threats.

I don’t think I’ve seen any of that kind of violent vitriol coming from a ‘terf’. The worst I’ve seen is ‘transwomen are men’ which whilst it may not be a nice thing to say, you could argue is correct from a biology standpoint (biology doesn’t have manners). Funny old world we live in.
It's scary I've never thought of doing any of that to a trump supporter or anyone who contradicts with my belief.

Good thing JKR is untouchable she's got bodyguard money and career protection. Jameela Jamil was tagged in these violent tweets I saw and only replied to someone that trans people are still the most vulnerable group in our society. Nothing else.

Just had a look on twitter and this tit is dark. If you say the wrong thing and are labelled as a TERF or transphobic you'll get crazies calling your work, trying to find your place -> Seen so many grape, murder, assault threats on there and no it's not one or the other sometimes it's a combination of the above in a different order. A canadian shelter for grape victims was defunded and closed for not wanting transwomen, they spray painted the walls, they nailed dead rats to the building and other tit like that. Likening to witches - literally getting a female doll and arranging a public hanging/burning her at the stake and writing first recorded TERF execution, there's also a picture calling for TERF's to be guillotined.
-> these lot are scary, asking how to recognize a TERF so they can punch/slit their throats kill them. oh my lord.
That's absolutely disgusting. Why are these violent Male abusers not being called out and prosecuted for that level of threatening behaviour?

There's a deeply disturbing agenda going on here.

because a)they have a few women participating in this b)they're hiding their violence under a mask of social justice. Look up punch a TERF, TERF etc.. from what I seen this comes from america and is quickly spreading accross the UK. Relieved to see some media publications in the UK not blindly following the narrative.

Can I just say the Canadian grape shelter, Vancouver grape Relief, has not closed down. After they lost their local government funding for not accepting males, lots of terves donated their own money to keep it open 👍
Agree with everything else you say though ZenChick101!

Many of this shelter’s residents are indigenous women. In Canada, indigenous women face a very disproportionate risk of being killed. Some of this is due to high rates of problems in their communities like domestic violence, alcoholism etc, and some is due to vulnerable women turning to prostitution. This shelter helps those women who might end up as statistics, and for all the bleating SJWs do about missing and murdered Indigenous women, they want to shut it down for not agreeing with their opinion.

Something else has been bugging me lately too - I’d welcome others’ thoughts.

I’ve watched most seasons of Drag Race and laughed along, but there’s something that sits uncomfortably with me. Men taking the ‘glamour’ of being a woman and caricaturing - often incredibly stereotypically. They make serious money off it while all the tough bits of being female are ignored (periods/pregancy etc)...
Yeah I personally could never understand the appeal of this show. Drag in general to me seems a little bit like blackface? It's the oppressor (men/white people) imitating and taking on a caricatured version of the oppressed (women/black people). I don't get how it's so celebrated?

Actually I think that you make a good point. It's female parody but of course it's fashionable at the moment. We can watch shows like drag race for a bit of a laugh but i bet none of us know any woman in real life that dresses like a drag queen.

I couldn't agree more.

Let’s be honest, brutally honest.

Trans women will never be on the same scale as born women. Ever.

Apparently the 4 authors who left JK Rowlings literary agency after they refused their 'reeducation' demands have gone to the same literary agency that publishes Tyson Fury the homophobic racists book so they arent choosy. As long as you dont question the trans agenda you can crack right on.

What a bunch of idiots. I certainly won't be buying any of their books. Hope they sink without trace.

Wait, I’m confused - I thought the agency published both Rowling and Fury. I’m sure people were pointing out the hypocrisy of calling out one and not the other? I may have been mixed up, if anyone can clarify please?

The fact that Tyson Fury has even “written books” makes me despair of the publishing industry.

Oh I dont know. It was something I read in the Times. I may have misunderstood but yeah. As they said, it's fine for him to be homophobic but not for Rowling to voice concerns for women's rights? They are idiots and will fade into obscurity now without an agent.

I saw on mumsnet on a thread that said there is video footage of one of those authors addressing an audience on stage and called gay people ‘deviants’ and that trans should stay well away from them. I must say I haven’t seen the video myself, I just read the thread.

Can't help but think that the authors leaving the literary agency are just trying to stir up a bit of publicity for themselves

Theres an issue with some in the trans lobby saying gay people arent gay they are trans. Although transwomen still try and bag women so they are allowed to be lesbians apparently.
