Men who transition to be 'women' will never menstruate, have a womb, have overies, have a cervix ....need I go on.
When the trans movement are offended by women speaking the very basic biology truth we have a problem.
No medical doctor is going to disagree with the above statement. Now I'd rather be treated by a medically trained doctor who understands the human anatomy than a so quack interested in the metaphysics of gender and sex and making sure men who have gender dysphoria feel comfortable.

Really many trans women (men) are misogyny personified. They have ridiculous notions about what it is to be and look like a woman. And there seems to be a sinister movement of men (who have a things for trans) using the idea of a TERF to display vile misogyny whilst sleeping with men (dressed as women).
It's such a fucked up way of men yet again keeping women down

You have no power of rational thinking, bless you.

JKR doesn’t need the attention. Hatey Katie only survives on publicity for revenue.

Women who choose to side with men on this issue are doing their daughters, partners, mothers, sisters and friends a massive disfavour

fucking love when someone tries to patronise another user with “bless you”

JKR doesn’t deserve the attention, a sub par author who got lucky with one series and a personality that would sour milk.

I don’t care to argue her latest stream of tweets, because next week/month it will be something else with her.

this thread is about JK Rowling
Not men/women/trans for me.

yeah why just show love & support to making the world more inclusive

I just wanted to say that I really respect you for being neutral as most big topics like this, they need someone neutral

Surely if your not being transphobic & neither is JK then why be scared to be public with your views.
if you choose to hide your feelings when not on an anonymous forum, maybe you should think about the other point of view
Have you ever actually looked at the amount of threats women get when they dare to speak out about this stuff? Threats of violence, death threats, doxxing, etc. These threats come from violent men dressing up as women and using their male socialisation to try and intimate women into being quiet. These men are not capable of talking about the topic in any reasonable way. It’s their way or you deserve a baseball bat. Women hiding their views due to threats of male violence is nothing new.

Of course they are still women they were literally born women it’s in their dna womb or not. Trans women how ever, will never be women. They can say they are, they can try and look like women if they like but it’s ingrained in their dna men cant become women, women can’t become men. Not sure what exactly is so disgusting about acknowledging this, it’s literally a biological fact. Hormones and surgery are cosmetic, it doesn’t change the fabric of your dna.

Literally no one is saying a woman who lost her womb is no longer a woman!
A woman is more than just a single organ. It is all her reproductive organs, her hormones, her chromosomes that make her a woman.

Tell me what you consider a woman to be if not for her body?

'A woman is someone with a female body and any personality, not a female personality and any body. Any other definition is sexism.'

Women can’t identify out of being put in ‘menstruation huts.’
Women can’t identify out of FGM.
Women (girls) can’t identify out of being married at 13 to an older man.
Women can’t identify out of being worth 1/2 that of a man.

The fact you call them 'violent men dressing up as Women' is the whole point.
I'm not going to make excuses for the threats as there arnt any & its appalling behavior from them.

Tbh JK Rowling was my childhood hero, I loved the Harry Potter series and it definitely shaped my love of literature to this day.

However, she is a money making, attention seeking fool and honestly I feel like the latest tweet displays that as she definitely knew the reaction it was going to get, regardless of her opinions... I’ll be honest, I’m staying neutral on my own opinion, but frankly, her opinion means nothing to me because really and truly, she has no real importance over my own opinion and I don’t want to give her the attention she clearly craves.

She uses twitter to stay in the limelight, sell more stuff to HP fans and basically piss people off.

Perish the thought that female should have an opinion on women’s erasure. Being a best selling author, (not a fan of her novels), doesn’t and shouldn’t exclude her from holding an opinion. Pass the smelling salts

My last comment on this issue.

regardless of where you fall on the conversation/argument about trans/women/men and the issues they face.

If you have 14.5m followers, and instead of using that reach to amplify the issues we’re all facing at the moment you choose to use it to target a group of people, during pride month, when people’s mental health is at an all time low, out of nowhere, just because.

you’re a bit of a dick.

Literally summed up my opinion on it... It doesn’t matter if you agree or disagree with her views, it was a nasty thing to do.

She's literally standing up for gay people and lesbians who are being erased by the trans community.
She's not targeting, she's defending.

Oh god. Like that trolley in the wall at Kings cross?
Or the horror that is butter beer (although I hear it’s a bit of a marmite issue). I remember when the TCR primark had most of the bottom floor as the HP section- you couldn’t move it was so packed. All I wanted was to nip in for some primark tights

HAHA YES!
As I say, I love the series as it brings so many childhood memories but shes just milking it beyond belief these days...
