When women assault other women, which happens on a daily basis, where’s your safe space?

I have been a woman my entire life...... I always believed that it was the person inside who mattered, whether you were kind or nasty , lazy or a hard worker etc. I grew up at a time when appearances didn't matter, and when we didn't have as much money to spend on clothes, make up etc

So I get so confused about trans issues, cos What difference does the packaging on the outside make? Why does someone's external or internal appearance matter or be relevant? If you want to dress as a man or as a woman, so what? So if someone wants to identify as a man or woman, thats fine by me, but why does it need to interfere with my identity and how I see myself as a woman?

What I do find frustrating is that...my old definition of what it is to be a woman....is no longer valid. I am no longer a woman because i was born female, I am now a CIS woman. Why has my defintion of what a woman is been changed? Who asked me if it was ok to change the definition?

Of course part of being a woman is about the biological facts of sex, periods, pregnancy, menopause, mood swings etc,.....same as being a man is about having a penis, having a broader chest, having a lower voice, having higher testosterone levels.......etc

Being a woman, for me is nothing about wearing particular clothes, or having to wear make up or high heels, or liking pink and fluffy cute kittens....which is what is confusing to me about some trans women, like caitlyn Jenner, who are all about the external appearance.
Well trans people experience very gender dysphoria that is attached to their body so external appearance is very important to them because changing it can help the feelings of dysphoria. Many of them hate everything about their body as it's connected to the sex they were assigned to and not as they identify. In terms of clothes etc, socially transitioning is just as important as medically transitioning because once they appear to be the gender they identify as rather than their assigned sex at birth, that can also help with dysphoria. Of course there's more to being a woman/man than appearance but the appearance is the bit they don't have to begin with. If they did then they wouldn't transition. If that makes sense.

So I just went down a bit of a rabbit hole. I saw the huge amount of support for Daniel Radcliffe on the TwoXChromosomes subreddit and was so disheartened. I went to the comments and someone was bringing up many of the points we're making here and she asked for people to rebuff them. Top comment was a link to this video:

I genuinely tried to watch it, I am open to hearing people say their piece but straight from the start "she" was sarcastic, passive aggressive and doing OTT impressions of these awful, hysterical women questioning trans ideology. I couldn't make it past 7 mins and even that was hard.

I do hope that there's just these clusters of trans ideologists that exist online and most of the real world live in reality. It's reassuring to hear people in this thread as I feel like Tattle is largely apolitical unlike Twitter and even Reddit.
apolitical?

Here’s me thinking that threads on this website are meaningful but then i came across this deluded one... continue crying about news articles sticking up for people’s rights saying they are “arrogant and patronising” When clearly all of you fucking Jk supporters are just the same with all your “i don’t feel safe in toilets with a trans person” bullshit.

Oh god. Like that trolley in the wall at Kings cross?
Or the horror that is butter beer (although I hear it’s a bit of a marmite issue). I remember when the TCR primark had most of the bottom floor as the HP section- you couldn’t move it was so packed. All I wanted was to nip in for some primark tights 🤣
HAHA YES! 😂
As I say, I love the series as it brings so many childhood memories but shes just milking it beyond belief these days...

I love the fact that people on twitter are attacking jk and people who are supporting her, i can’t wait to grow up in a generation that accepts trans people and gives them the same rights and respect they deserve because they are who they are, going to be so peaceful and fair with no judgement 😁

She's literally standing up for gay people and lesbians who are being erased by the trans community.
She's not targeting, she's defending.

you’re posting her retweets to back what she started.....
Which started here, which her usual condescending, patronising off putting personality

I will add again, my comments on this thread are about her. NOT this discussion.

It’s always women who get the shitty end of the stick, innit? ‘Pregnant people’, ‘chestfeeders’, ‘people who menstruate’. Never heard the term ‘people who ejaculate’ say, or ‘penis havers’. Besides, not all women menstruate, but only women CAN menstruate, which is what JK Rowling meant. Bringing women who are menopausal etc. into it is a straw man.

Reminds me of that bloke with a beard who decided to grow his hair long and wear dresses. Said he was ‘broadening the bandwidth of what it means to be a woman’. Why does a man get to decide that and why doesn’t he broaden the bandwidth of what it means to be a man instead?
so if we don't do that we're not women? can't you be a trans women without doing that? that's actually confusing. JK was very mocking in the tweets I saw - wumbats ? but only women have the possibility/ability to menstruate.. it's a female biological process. Also in america there's this idea that gender isn't real - but how does that make sense though? shouldn't lesbians be attracted to men to then? since gender isn't real? and straight men attracted to gays? etc..? It's important to reflect on others point of view but this is really confusing

JK Rowling writes a number of books under pen names (allegedly) which really would not surprise me.

The thing is, when I see her name I automatically think of HP. She is a talented writer and does go into other genres, but if she is publishing under a pen name you have to do some digging to figure out it is her.

It is her only way to get away from the HP comparison.

Nope. But this is our space, trans women (men) don't yet again have the right to be in our space.
I'm sure the majority of trans women need to just piss but why do I care? I don't and this doesn't mean because they BEHAVE themselves they are allowed the right to be in women spaces. So am man is able to be good therefore we allow them into all of our most vulnerable spaces.

Again I'm not particularly interested in trans rights because my care is for women's rights. And for our dignity no men should be in our spaces.

as a side note most rapists and predators are men, most trans are men.
Your response has just served to highlight your ignorance and bigotry. You treat others with no respect but demand that you yourself should be protected and respected?

Hypocrisy.

what i'm wondering though is why she posted her tweets, someone like her would have a pr agent that would monitor and control their social media prescence, so knowing how controversial her tweets might seem it's puzzling they were allowed to be posted.

The trans lobby is inherently anti women. Look at the comments on this thread. If they were supportive of gays and lesbians why have they alienated lesbians by arguing that they are homophobic for refusing to sleep with trans women. Leave women alone. Leave us be. And stop calling us cis. We are not a sub set of woman. We are women. Not cis, not bleeders, not menstruators, not cervix holders. Women. Adult female human. Woman.
Posey Parker hello there! Didn't know you were clogging up the tattle algorithm with your hateful bullshit as well as YouTube 😑

Not to me! She’s an absolute inspiration! Thank god for her raising awareness of this insanity
no need to angry face my comments 😬
I’ve been very open about the fact I know next to nothing about her narrative on this topic.
I dislike her as a person ,
thats ok you know, we don’t all need to like the same people ☺

I'm very glad you are inspired by her. 👍 everyone needs an inspiration.

Are you for real? I do understand the process as someone who Unfortunately has been in and out of breast clinic
Have a look at the trans activism and the vile , disgraceful garbage they spew if you dare say they are not women.
Seriously they literally would argue a wall is red when it's blue!
So are you telling me a trans nurse would be ok with the hospital or surgery asking the patient if a WOMEN/FEMALE can be present instead of them?

And for what it's worth why the hell should an additional rigmarole be placed on the patient?
I'd be quite open if a trans nurse was there and say no thank you but I suppose I'm a gobby outspoken woman. Many other women and girls in this woke society would feel uncomfortable with saying no.

Makes me so mad that women are put upon
There’s no need to take that tone. I’m just trying to answer your question. I’ve no idea who you are or what your experience is. Clearly it’s been very different to my own as a sexual assault survivor and the sister of someone who chaperones was part of their job.
ive no idea how an individual would feel about that but personal feelings and hospital procedure/ attitudes are very different. it’s actually commonplace for drs to bet told all the time they don’t want to be seen again by a patient. From the drs I know they couldn’t care less when that happens because they have plenty of other patients to see.
you see your ability for consent as rigamorale? I would have thought the importance of consent is something incredibly positive and a legal right but okay.

please do go have a look- you will really struggle to prove your point.
In the UK there have been so few murders of trans people over the past 10 years (I think it is around 1 person) that it is impossible to say they are at a higher risk.

Here is the evidence:

Like the pp above said and like the channel four fact check said they are more likely to be the murderer.

Of the population in prison though, compared to rest of the male population there is a significantly higher percentage of sex offenders amongst the trans population.
Again this is a chanel 4 fact check. A mainstream media report which is also based on the UK only. I stand firm on my views from my friend a black trans woman actively involved and a part of the trans community for many many years and is living and knowing about the grave under reporting and cover up of these hate crimes, assaults attacks and deaths

It is indeed diabolical, and that doesn’t make its existence any less real. If people knew about autogynephilia trans rights would stop in an instant.

And all you can say against this fact is that it’s horrible and anyone who mentions the bleeding obvious is a bad person. You’ve not been able to rationally counter anything I said.

That’s a public relations lie, he was raised male. That’s why his homophobic community is so accepting of his “lesbian” relationship.

Of course he doesn’t want to take hormone blockers, they will affect his health and his athletic advantage.
Not a trans issue. Hormones in sport issue.
Again, I didn't come to argue, just share support / provide balance but others are doing a much better job. It gives me hope. ✌🏽

You can post individual occurrences to prove your point but your purse isn’t even full. Trans people are people, some people are criminals therefore some trans people will be criminals.

Yes there are individuals who stir the pot with their crap about not being able to get a gynaecology appointment when they have a penis but they don’t represent an entire community.
