She uses twitter to stay in the limelight, sell more stuff to HP fans and basically piss people off.
Oh god. Like that trolley in the wall at Kings cross?
Or the horror that is butter beer (although I hear it’s a bit of a marmite issue). I remember when the TCR primark had most of the bottom floor as the HP section- you couldn’t move it was so packed. All I wanted was to nip in for some primark tights 🤣

Exactly! I saw somewhere (not sure if here or elsewhere) that trans women should be welcomed in womens spaces because they're not welcome in mens, eg bathrooms. But again, trans activists are going after the easy target, ie women. It's now our fault that they are supposedly subject to attacks in male spaces
Are trans men allowed in men's bathroom?

And now you're spouting propaganda and hate speech of your own under the guise of feminism...

All I see in this thread is hate and bigotry. People obsessed and consumed with hatred for trans people simply because they are trans.

The posts are filled with belittling and crass and gross comments about trans people their lives and bodies. Every single bigoted comment over simplifies the trans experience by making light of people's lives and existence.

You all claim to care and are full of compassion... but it is entirely self serving. It's only about issues which concern yourselves.
Because they championed trans rights until trans people got a little too equal. Then it’s not ok.

Humans will happily live with other minority humans but only when that minority stays a minority and stays in their place. If things get too much, out comes the vitriol.

I love Jo but she has fallen down the dark Twitter rabbit hole where you feel the need to force your opinions on others. It’s why I deleted my account.

My friend works in Harvey Nicks. Jo goes in there fairly frequently and her manager has told the floor staff Jo doesn’t want them to approach her. Apparently they have to turn their head slightly away when the head stylist goes past with her picking out clothes. She apparently parks right outside with her fancy car. But then lots of people do that too.
Did your friend say why the staff can’t approach her?

I'm interested in what you mean about her darkside too Kawaii. I don't really do twitter but have seen some of her tweets in the past and she did seem quite feisty and ready to pull people up.

I think a big part of the dysphoria is that in their head, trans women are women. They look in the mirror and what they see doesn’t marry up to what they are on the inside.

Fortunately I was born female and psychologically I am a women but I can’t imagine how difficult life would be if I was born with gender dysphoria, it doesn’t surprise me that trans people can grow to hate their physical appearance and anatomy. The fact that trans people would rather end their life than continue to live in their bodies speaks volumes for how much pain and trauma they must endure With the dysphoria.
You sum it up well.

It IS very external appearanced based because thats where the dysphoria is usually focused on. If it was purely an internal issue then no trans person would transition at all.

I’ve really enjoyed both The Causal Vacancy and the Cormoran Strike books. She is fantastic at characterisation and often very funny. I think she has had a problem letting go of the HP series, and as a result popular culture is just oversaturated with it. The last FB film was one of the worst films I’ve ever seen in terms of plotting and she wrote the script. Truly, truly dire. I wish she would leave it behind and focus on more original works.
I also enjoyed The Casual Vacancy.

I completely get why she wants to stay there too, but I just don’t think she’s producing quality content from that universe anymore. If she were to release a prologue to the original books I’d be first in line!

I enjoyed the play too but as a fan of the actual playwright, Jack Thorne - it’s 100% his baby. I think she just signed off on the plot. Still choked up watching Hagrid finding baby Harry in the fire tho

I swear you are the same person as me, FamHam
Gosh I wish my posts were as detailed and cohesive as yours! :D

I'm interested in your theory, I think something is up but can't put my finger on it.

Just post it and disclaim it as a wild conspiracy theory, the truth is often somewhere in between conspiracy theories!

I remember a while back, Rowling retweeted a little girl caught in the Syrian war zone (with mum and brother)
That girl & family eventually got out but the circumstances to me were all very weird

I wonder how she always finds controversial things on Twitter.

Though @KawaiiAF what's your theory?

Can I ask why you wouldn’t?

And I don’t think calling them odd is... fair or warranted. Just because you don’t understand they’re not bizarre or odd.

Also if you mean NikkieTutorials... she’s not a man. She’s a transwoman. She’s not influencing any male domination of the beauty industry.
As i mentioned in my earlier posts these women, trans women are being murdered. That is their daily level of fear. Another US case

Two good people to follow and understand from the trans community are Laverne Cox and Janet Mock on insta If u want to broaden ur understanding 🙏
