Hi everyone, just found this page (was nervous clicking on it because I thought it would be a place to attack her) while lurking for stuff on youtubers so not sure if this is the right place to post (I haven't read through the previous two threads yet) but I found these videos critiquing Jammidodger's video on JKR:

(there's 4 parts to the series, just linking the first one) that I found really helpful in explaining what I found lacking in logic in Jammidodger's video (that everyone uses as proof she's wrong) edit: sorry I think the thumbnail might be a bit disturbing to some

Yes!!!! Looks like they are after all the woke points
Between Netflix and now Channel 4, the woke media sure do love their trans-identified males 🙃
Didn't hear a word Rose said, his voice was so jarring!

It's wrong to appropriate as a different culture. Look at the gift of Hilaria ,sorry Hillary Baldwin, and how that's become a tit storm because she pretended to be Spanish.
But this? A bloke with his meat and 2 veg 🤮in a dodgy dress saying he's a woman and we have to go along with his fantasy...and if not we're transphobic 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

I dare anyone to go on his wife's Instagram 🤮 she's called Kristin Chirico ..she's not really helping herself

Thanks for posting. I remember watching the beginning of that appalling Jammidodger video and rapidly losing the will to live 😖 they were soooo patronising and sounded like they were lecturing children 🤮

I love the way she counter argues and articulates so well.

University Challenge’s Christmas series had a TIM representing Manchester. So the Beeb is on board too.

To be honest I never eally liked Kristin Chirico. The way she speaks to that lesbian woman and co-presenter Jen was so rude and dismissive. She wasn't homophobic, just rude.

I have found my people!

If anyone hasn’t yet, please do read the Robert Galbraith books. I got all of them in October and have finished all of them already. She really is a fantastic writer.
I shall be adding to my To Be Read pile.

I knew bbc were after their aired an Australian series called ‘first day’ on cbbc about a trans child starting secondary school. It was as bad as you can imagine.

Yes, alas I am in Aus and was aware of that show.

I just hate the idea that any girl or boy who is different and doesn’t feel like they fit in to a stereotype will see puberty blockers and hormones and transitioning as the fix for their problems. It’s clear from the Tavistock report not enough psychologically support (or social work looking at families/home life) is provided before medication begins. I’d rather better pastoral care options, better funding mental health support, less sexism in our schools and workplaces and on tv and in toys etc etc.

interesting read!
I read that article yesterday and I wish people who bandy about the slur TERF would read it. I swear they have no clue about autogynephilia and how commonplace it is. On Twitter yesterday we were discussing how strange it is that TIMs (trans identified males) never seem to want to look like the kind of women who were at Greenham Common, or like most ordinary women look. Instead these men seem to favour a porn actress, idealised male gaze version of womanhood to impersonate.

I cannot understand why these (usually young) women who are supportive of TIMs and who dismiss their fellow women’s concerns as ‘transphobia’ never question this. It’s pretty clear that it’s a fetish to the vast majority of them.

I think that article needs to be shared far and wide.

The reason libfems have blindly accepted this is because libfems are all about aesthetics and don't actually look into the deeper issues. That and trans being tied up with LGB when really they mostly have nothing to do with LGB- most of these fetishists are straight middle aged men who call themselves lesbians.

That old joke 14-year-old schoolboys used to make in the 90s about "being a lesbian trapped in a man's body" has now become reality, and libfems are too vapid to see it.

I swear, some of these people are so intellectually shallow they'd drown on a damp footpath.

So true. Falling over themselves to laud these men as 'brave' and 'stunning' while labelling women who fight to retain sex based rights TERFs, bigots, transphobes. And don't even get me started on men who have found a loophole to be horrible to women and get to look virtuous by calling it 'fighting for trans rights'. It's fashionable misogyny
