Personally I think it’s because of the backlash she got from her wedding guest dress series! XWhere’s Lauren disappeared to? She’s taking quite a lengthy break from Insta, hope she’s okay
She says she's still on a social media break but has posted a ton of stories this morning & as you say an adShe’s back now there’s an ad to post![]()
I agree. She could do more good in the world (if that’s her true intent, and I do think she has that) by stopping the public social media and finding a local charity or good cause close to her heart. She hasn’t got a thick enough skin to be an influencer if she can’t take a few people saying she promoted overconsumption and debt.
Id selfishly love her to more history stuff. The clothes angle is oversaturated as it is and if she’s crying poverty and then advertising products of any type then it’s immediately disingenuous. She’s too scattered as an influencer too, like I dont get what her USP is? She needs to sort out what that is. I don’t think the clothes angle is right though as she cannot one day cry over being skint then the next show off ten new outfits.
Especially when the particular dress on question is £100 a popHer USP is just saying how burnt out she every 2 months, popping off on a jolly yet returning to do ads.
I used to really enjoy her sunshine squeakiness and I really respected what she said about debt, and comfort buying and what not…. but what brought me to the tattle thread was the fact that, despite this, she continues to encourage people to use her afillliate links to buy things in multiple colours, and it’s largely the same dress (to me anyway) shilled 300 times over.
that’s when it becomes disingenuous.
Oh yeah don't get me started on that miserable fuckerShe seems manic at the minute. I’m happy she is excited about stuff but it seems a bit much. Still, better than being a miserable fucker like her definitely-still-great-mate-no-matter-that-she-shat-all-over-me Laura
I’ll be honest…. I think I would probably do the same regarding trying to get gifted one if I had the social media platform and presence… and lived on my own and had to pay £2,000 for a new doorI just can't help that all of the riveting front door discussion is just a cynical ploy to see if someone will gift her one?? & Anyone who does a poll is just trying to drive some engagement!
