Then she says no one needs over 2000 dress options let alone 9000, but there’s over 2000 options for a size 20 in Next but somehow that’s not enough for her. Even in ASOS there’s over 500. Between parts 1, 2 and 3 of this 5 part series she has 6 different dresses.

It’s just very ott and obsessive at the moment, she is terrible for waste and fast fashion then blames that on being plus size. It’s not her wedding! She needs a new hobby outside buying clothes it’s very repetitive.

I have lost a bit of respect for her for suggesting Poppy bleeping Adams as a plus-sized fashion influencer. Poppy has zero style, I am amazed anyone follows her for fashion advice. Lauren has more in common looks wise and clothing availablity with straight sized influencers than her and people like Jessontheplussize

This what I HATE about influencer culture. They'll find any excuse to encourage you to "buy buy buy" because you clicking on their aff links earn them money. But they have no intention of keeping or wearing most of the stuff they're shilling to you.

Lauren did a FOUR PART content series on new clothes and then wore something she had already.

I would've respected her a lot more if she'd just done the "shop my wardrobe" reel because that's far more relatable and she has a tit ton of clothing already. I notice that the first (pink) dress in the shop my wardrobe video still has the tag in it, so she's never worn it out!

Also, the absolute gall of her to spend the entire week trying to bait people into buying new dresses and then post about going to the wedding in a dress she already owns with the hashtags #secondhandfashion #sustainablefashion

You don't get to spend an entire week encouraging over consumption and then jump on the sustainability bandwagon.
