I have mentioned previously in the thread, my fiancé has been trying to get a divorce from his narc ex wife who has played EVERY TRICK in the book to stop it. We’ve been together 6 and a half years, gotten engaged, and had a daughter and she’s successfully managed to stall until the other day.
He FINALLY got his decree Nisi….
Guess what date……??
it was granted on THE 3RD JULY!!!!
we only found out today! What are the chances??🫶

It must feel wonderful to be relieved of that burden.
My legal friend might be able to go. They're in court today for another case that day. I've heard a bit more about the RO hearings. Well, they heard from a colleague who was there as my friend had to duck out.
Evidently, the judge told the daughter he hoped she'd drop the RO against her father by the next hearing date. Sounds like he made it clear he thought RO request was a mistake. That's what my friend gathers. These things are open to interpretation. The fact that it hasn't been dropped makes it fairly clear who's behind pushing it through, IMO. And it's not the child.
Only time will tell. I won't know if they're able to attend until later in the week. At least we know the records will be available. And the transcripts will eventually be as well.

Quite. It's not about enabling abusers. I had a quick look at Emma Katz and she is not going to be any kind of ally to mAlice. This story reverses the usual trope about the father being the violent one but I trust the Judge is not hung up on the usual stereotype. The fact that he wants Ella to drop the RO is good news.

Definitely imagine that the only attention girls got from mAlice- especially since her social media addiction spiraled- is when they performed for her Instagram posts and played at happy family. And once IG left (he seemed to be behind most of the family outings for fresh air etc), it was only way she gave them time. Sadly it is natural they would then mimic her anger and antics towards Ioan to curry her love and attention. This is so sad! I also am just mortified about loopy and the insane FM who think they do mAlice or girls service by continuing on with the social media tirades - REAL friends would beg mAlice to delete apps, would themselves NOT continue on with the childish name calling and tagging to clearly try to destroy I & B’s careers and mental/physical health but rather spend those HOURS of tweeting on healthier endeavors to get mAlice out of her rut. Take it off SM, encourage her to work and work with a lawyer to take this alleged “mound of evidence” and turn it into something effective legally. It IS really sad. Alice just cuts anyone off if they dare to question her behavior, which only compounds the isolation she’s inflicting on the girls. And as has been mentioned many times, the isolation is another key method of her abuse and control. If Ella was attending school regularly, and had solid friendships with girls her age, she’d be exposed to more typical families. I imagine she’d be talking about some of this at friends’ families’ dinner tables, and getting gently reminded of her father’s perspective.
This is what the Abuser has always craved. People looking at her,The look on the woman in the blue dress says it all.
I think she is just going with the usual pronouns as men are more likely to be DV abusers.
