Even if you don’t like you MIL, and many people including myself don’t, why would you expect your husband to cut ties with his mother? Why would you even interfere in the relationship between parent and child? Let me tell you something shocking, Alice. I’m not speaking to my MIL (and I have very good reasons not to), but my husband and children visit her regularly and talk to her on the phone. She’s their mum and grandma and I would never want to break this bond. In fact, I encourage it! Not everything is about you, Alice. But as you’ve shown us over and over again, you’d stop nowhere.
