I quite liked the glitter ceiling….

but I agree that they didn’t have a solid enough background for their clients so it became a bit childish. Having an excess of nautical decoration when you’re by the sea just reminds me of hotels and b and b. It’s quite cliche.

Not sure about so many of them doing gardens They've got gardens at Battersea Dogs Home already. I thought it was inside home living space they wanted? With soft furnishings?
All the contestants seem nice this year. No one really irritating.

I think the star rating of a hotel is based on things like having coffee making facilities and an iron in the room. Michelle said she wanted somewhere to do her make-up. I don't think anyone had a mirror.

The only hut i liked was the lady who did the amalfi coast design - the rest i found either too bare or way too cluttered with shite. Paper mache lady - i liked some of the ideas but she went OTT with it.

Alan made me laugh a couple of times as well - usually i find the jokes a bit forced. Did anyone else think it was weird when Michelle and american man judge went to view the huts . Michelle dressed in autumn time clothes and a hat but he was in a t shirt and sunglasses !

Did anyone notice when John did his bit where the family speak about him etc and he’s at his school writing on the white board and talking to his class there was no one actually in the class? The reflection shows he was talking to an empty room.

I didn’t see the reflection but thought it was to an empty room because it just felt awkward and unnatural

I agree that Briony winning seemed plucked out of the air this week. If anyone likes this sort of thing there’s an Australian show called the Block I think watch or one of the channel 5 channels show it. It can get a bit MAFS at times with orchestrated drama but it focuses on home renovations and is quite fun.

I love The Block! I tune out most of the drama but the work they do is great. Think my favourite was a big old building converted into flats, possibly in Melbourne? it was art deco with a lot of features retained, the lobby was stunning. Quite exciting when they were all sold at auction at the end 🫣

I had no idea AI was being used. How do you know its been used. Could they just hide the fact? Very disappointed.
