Yeah, I’m close friends with the teenager. The story was outed and then confirmed via press. She’s doing really well now, but obvs a bit freaked out by all this. So there are some voices one step removed from that little clique of India's that are now saying things. I think it's the fact that IK's relationship with EJ was used as mitigation of his sentence that has prompted people to finally speak up, as any lingering doubt that she may have left him has been removed.

I think some of them aren't crucifying him because they're terrified of losing their gigs at the Times.

Yes, it's IK that holds all the power, not Eric. They would all be crucifying him if she wasn't still with him.

India’s ex husband turned out to be gay and is now married to a man so maybe that explains the bitterness. She fancies herself as a modern day Nancy Mitford, she wishes. Nancy Mitford was witty and a great writer unlike India.

She uses such a vile misogynistic language towards women. India had a feud with Liz Jones from Daily Mail a few years ago. Now I am not a fan of Liz but she didn’t deserve the vile verbal abuse.

I’d read that yesterday. I’m not a fan of Liz either but there’s just no need is there. Especially from someone who is so affronted for her mate Sali when, in fact nothing awful has been said about her. I always think of Liz as a bit of a fragile person and she’s openly admitted to problems hasn’t she. India seems like a shark, sniffs a drip of blood and goes into a frenzy. I think that *right now* they are trying this tactic of ignoring it and hoping for the best, but it will become increasingly obvious to both of them that it's not something which will be forgotten, and they're not going to be able to carry on as usual.
I actually watched that BBC3 documentary yesterday and it's really hard going, but probably worth it if you can stomach it (I had to keep pausing it and walking away for wee breaks as it's so sickening / rage-inducing).

I’m so angry no newspapers are really covering this, I really am losing total faith in the british media tbh, it’s an absolute outrage. Unless I read tattle I doubt I’d even be aware of this at all
