IK just encapsulates everything I detest in a human being; the nepotism, the misplaced entitlement, the zero self awareness and of course the p.aedo boyfriend. Very probably has never done anything actually worthwhile in her life.
Quite. And chuck into the mix the sneery judgemental tone towards others - quite often women. Remember the daft bat was convinced any criticism of Sali Hughes was because we had beef faces and were all jealous as Sali was so pretty? (Of course Sali lapped up this bilge. Prettily).

The last para is the important bit for me:

“So widespread is this sickness that in 2017, Norfolk’s police chief constable said that those who viewed child-abuse images should not even be prosecuted, because the police were already unable to cope with the volume of cases. It is a national disgrace that men such as Joyce, who drive the market for the rape of infants, are spared jail by the courts of this country. But it is a national scandal that our newspapers – usually so keen to police the morals of our public figures – close ranks to protect one of their own. What a shameful episode in the history of British journalism – the silence of the hacks, shielding the evils which take place behind the Wokescreen.”

Evening all😊

Is this the woman with a face like a side of beef ?

Hadn’t really heard of her before the SHFoF* debacle, is she remotely famous?

*Sally Hissy Fit on Friday.

She’s the one who shags Eric Joyce , what can I say ?

I tend to want to disagree with JB, but holy moly it's very nail on head in terms of the hypocrisy and classism that IK is famous for.

The Times are really looking after their own - comments have been turned off for their article about EJ and his conviction this week:

The day before he was found guilty of assaulting those two boys, she tweeted that she was looking forward to him being let off, and it was their fault for agressing him! Then he was found guilty, she never mentioned it again. She will stay with him, surrounded by aww poor you friends, who ought to be telling her the truth, he's a violent, drunk, sex offender.

Her support, was a factor in his sentence, or lack thereof, she should have kicked him out, not offered to send him round to women’s houses to sort them out, during the whole sali hughes whingefest last year.

I also think they both (ironically) have massive superiority complexes, so they genuinely think they are above the law and better than the rest of us. So they are just waiting for it all to blow over so they can carry on their gilded, disgusting, morally corrupt lives once more.
I wouldn't be surprised if they come back with #bekind

It's so depressing how unequal people are treated and the right on blue tickers that are ignoring it but something very minor they'd jump right on. Horrific corrupted people.

I can't get my head around this. India is an intelligent educated professional, who has given up her daughter to keep living with a violent alcoholic p*do.

I’m still utterly shocked by the whole thing, the offences, the mitigation of drinking and relationship, the sentencing, the absolute lack of appropriate press coverage, and the continued access on one hand to a column that never mentions the situation and on the other to the fact that, I’m repeating my own words, a convicted paedophile sex offender is still PUBLICLY using social media. God knows what’s going on in private use.

When you think of the absolute witch hunts there have been of people in this country over less, it’s just absolutely nauseating. I am so cross.
Yes! For example remember Christopher Jeffries, around 10 years ago he was wrongly accused of murdering his young female tenant in Bristol. He was absolutely raked across the gutter press because he looked a bit eccentric. His life was ruined by this apparently. And he was totally innocent.

Look at 2000 pictures of infants and children being abused... *virtual silence by same gutter press*

*** TW: child abuse ***

Oh Jesus. A ONE year old? And "clearly a Category A movie". What the fuck.

And she was merrily arguing with people on twitter at midnight? Completely confounding.

And the faux jolly tweets will resume indecently quickly with all her sycophants leaping in to like them.
She never stopped tweeting (apart from that one week). Going on about her horses escaping yesterday. Relatable. Posted a selfie getting her hair done (not wearing a mask) the day before that.

I love Julie Bindel. And I agree with every word of that furious tweet. She made a great point about those sex offender programs, which seem to exist purely to save money by keeping offenders like EJ out of prison.

Centering anyone except the abused children in this would be very low.

There have been a few cases recently where men pushing for an end to single-sex facilities have also been found guilty of sex abuse offences. These are clearly particularly worrying as abusers want easier access to women and children in potentially vulnerable situations. Joyce is one of those.

ETA: This still doesn’t make sense of last night’s comment, but if alcohol had been taken then fair enough!

On the Sali Hughes thread someone has posted about the number of people jailed for not paying their TV license. Majority were women.

Given his previous convictions, I don't see why the judge didn't impose a custodial sentence. It was also send a very public message about the seriousness of these crimes and perhaps act as a deterrent

This slightly cheery “back soon!” nonsense (no pun intended) is really, really grotesque. Honestly, she has absolutely no shame — even if she’s dumped the prick, wouldn’t you just shut up and avoid social media until afterwards?

Roll on next week, will be adding popcorn, a pitchfork and migraine tablets to my shopping list.
