Let’s not forget he’s also been convicted of beating up two teenage lads, reportedly unprovoked. He’s an absolute horror. Hasn’t India got two grown up sons too. Joyce’s stable relationship with IK was used a mitigating factor in the sentencing. The silence from the Twitterati is shameful.

Gosh, I know all our hair has suffered in lockdown, but this is amazing. Doesn't she ever brush it?
Not only does she have the nerve to have a beauty column, but she also had the nerve to give us such amazing insight into depression with "Everybody gets depressed" in one of her articles, claiming there's no stigma to it and asking do we want a medal.
Her other canon text was aimed against women who don't have children.
Why she still has a public platform is beyond me, not to mention public support, but I'm a childless depressed woman, so what the fuck do I know.

ETA I was hoping the picture will be quoted as well

These men never seem to get custodial sentences.

India’s phone must be blowing up with messages from the Twitterati saying “Darling! Now you can put this ghastly time behind you!”

Eric Joyce is still tweeting, or at least, retweeting.

He has been convicted of one of the most disgusting, abhorrent crimes there is. And yet this vile man still has the sheer brass neck to carry on tweeting about bollocks as if his opinion MATTERS.

If I sound angry that’s because I am. Luckily I have no abuse in my past but know a few who do and as a result, know just a bit of the damage child abuse does. It absolutely disgusts me that this revolting specimen apparently knows no shame.

Shame on him. And shame on India Knight for largely keeping quiet, breaking silence only to pass it off as a minor inconvenience to her.

👀

I don’t know that Hughes, Moran etc would have been covering this news, beauty and celebrity is their journalism right? But the points been made I suppose.
This is a good point though. Sali tweeted that her sons were upset Jeremy Corbyn wore a blue coat to the Cenotaph 🙄

So are her sons less upset that her friend's husband has been searching for and downloading clips of babies being raped? She only mentions her sons' feelings when it benefits her agenda?

I'm taking her silence as her sticking by him- surely if she left him she would want to make it clear publicly she was distancing herself from a child abuser

It’s ridiculous that to get the full story - that he also admitted to searching online for child sexual abuse - I have to rely on the Scottish Sun (screenshots below). The Guardian coverage is minimal.

This really reminds me of a tweet I saw today about Jess Glynn whinging that she wasn't allowed in a fancy restaurant wearing a hoodie and trainers: it it SUCH a posh girl thing to do. You would never catch a working class Scouser going out for a nice meal and trying to pull this shit, and you wouldn't catch them turning up at a hairdressers with filthy fucking hair either.
Yes! The sheer nerve of walking into a fancy restaurant - with a dress code - looking as scruffy as that. I bet she said “Don’t you know who I am?”

As for the people who said the restaurant were being “classist” for mistaking JG for a working class person 🤣 Working class people would never turn up to a posh restaurant looking like that.

IK just encapsulates everything I detest in a human being; the nepotism, the misplaced entitlement, the zero self awareness and of course the p.aedo boyfriend. Very probably has never done anything actually worthwhile in her life.

Sali is just a professional at latching on to people she think could either help boost her career in some way or maybe give her a bit of credibility. The fact that they could be a heinous individual wouldn’t bother her in the slightest.

India’s media connections will remain a massive attraction for her, hence her reluctance to comment on the loathsome boyfriends latest diabolical crime. If he had been, for example, Liz Jones boyfriend can you imagine the frothing at the mouth from Sali?

God, I don't know if I'm just a complete prude but that's made me really cringe. Who would want to know that?
Nope, not just you. Details of other people’s sex lives are boring and smack of the whole “we’re enlightened and anything goes” schtick. No one cares, sweetie

It is crazy isn't it? Like everyone is too polite to point out the obvious for some wierd reason. What that man did was completely disgusting - but no one is mentioning it. And India blusters on pretending everything is normal.
She is shameless.
I just cannot get my head around it. If he had been done for fraud, expenses fiddling, or something, I could see people doing the polite thing, but he’s not - he has more than one violent convictions and now this. How do you pretend you are a jolly countryside couple when your partner has just joined the ranks on the sex offenders register. All the money in the world can’t brush that one under the carpet.

He has not been absolved of the crime. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced. Disagreeing with the sentence doesn't mean he didn't receive one.
Whatever people beleive about what he did, the court could obviously only deal with that which could proven.
Eric Joyce is not a powerful man and I would be surprised if he was wealthy. I don't think he came from a privileged backround.
The sentencing is consistent with the guidelines and not indicative of any special treatment.

Your post stated "(l)esbians...have lost their jobs, just for not wanting to sleep with trans women who have penises".
None of those women have lost jobs. And what is described did not happen "just for not wanting to sleep with trans women with penises".
What has happened to them has happened to them because they are gender critical. Therefore you can infer that they do not want to sleep with trans women with penises. Although no inference is necessary because they have also been explicit about this publicly.

What do you think about the cases I’ve cited? Do you think that it’s reasonable and proportionate for for the trans lobby to campaign to have gender critical women (and it is always women, never gender critical men) from their jobs? Often they are successful.

Allison Bailey is a black female lesbian barrister. She has had to sue Stonewall to try and stop them from campaigning to have her kicked out of her chambers for being gender critical. For stating that sex is real, Stonewall is actively trying to finish her career. Do you think that is reasonable?

She seems to want to be the cool girl, like the description in Gone Girl. There's a 2012 article about being a parent and she talks about her son's coming downstairs to find people skinning up at the dinner table. It's ok when rich people expose their kids to drugs apparently!
Yes, trying WAY to hard to be cool and failing. There is, I think, a massive insecurity there –possibly connected to her looks – which might explain her poor choices re boyfriends.

Well that’s specifically for child sex abuse so she can’t say she didn’t know. I hate that what he did is on her but she and her horrid friends are SO judgemental about other women - can you imagine what they’d be saying if it were anybody else.
You nailed it. She is vile – so judgemental of other women, a smug mysognist who owes her entire career to nepotism. Annoying to see the Establishment rallying round to suppress this story.

I wonder when he decided to plead guilty, and when she knew he'd admitted to searching for child abuse images. Bet he's lied and lied to her. Hopefully her child's father will intervene, talk sense to her. How could you imagine any future with a sex offender.
She is desperate –a face like an old potato, so probably willing to take any man that comes her way, even a child sex offender.

I’m really surprised she hasn’t released a short statement saying “it happened years ago, he told me it was something else, I’m was shocked and sad he plead guilty but I’m even sadder for the victims. Eric and I are no longer together or living together.” Etc.

If she hasn’t because she still is with him I hope her real friends are trying to get her out of it. She’s incredibly lucky she has the means to get out of a relationship that other women don’t have.
And also the means, because of her friends in high places, to suppress the story.

Well that’s specifically for child sex abuse so she can’t say she didn’t know. I hate that what he did is on her but she and her horrid friends are SO judgemental about other women - can you imagine what they’d be saying if it were anybody else.
She once called Liz Jones, 'A rancid c**t". I'm no fan of Liz Jones but I know who I consider to be the more rancid of the two.

It's the power of that column, achieved entirely through nepotism. It's the reason for all the saliviting blue-tick Twitterati pledging support on Twitter and for Penguin, her publisher, continuing to pay her for her sad, mediocre books.
Rotten to the fucking core. And they call Tattle a cess pit of 'deluded turds' ©India Knight? 😂
