Eleanor Morgan, one of the few high profile people on Twitter who've spoken out against about Joyce's sentencing, posted some brilliant tweets this morning:

She is bang on. The more I think about it, the more I feel terrified at how this has been largely swept under the rug.

The entire story is shocking, upsetting and incredibly dark, from every angle - from EJ blaming alcohol and claiming the love of a good woman has put him straight, to IK making herself the victim, to the cabal of journos who’ve kept entirely schtum. Not to mention EJ’s history with Tattle! How dare IK have called Tattle users “married incels” over SH’s fantasy version of events, when she was sharing her life and bed with a man who watched a video of a baby being raped (sorry for graphicness of that word but it’s true and we should say it. I won’t pussyfoot around this stuff to avoid recognising the seriousness of it).

The excuses paedophiles give out make me SO paranoid that I’m one click away from downloading loads of stuff and ending up in prison but it really isn’t true is it? I think you have to really search stuff out. And honestly who clicks links in their spam folder?

Really worth remembering that paedophiles are usually very clever and will lie and manipulate people to get what they want.

Hi all, long time lurker here who finally has the guts to post without thinking my identity will get found out somehow and I'll have an angry Eric round my house

It's so nice to meet a community who think the same as me. I've never been good at articulating my thoughts on all these hypocrits on Twitter, preaching about racism and being kind etc. but are literally the nastiest gang around! I always thought I was in the minority in my thinking, as Twitter would lead you to believe that people like India were loved by all, however thankfully I am wrong and I have found the not so silent majority.

Her Husband is vile and the fact she stayed with him after some of his revolting behaviour makes me feel sick. How dare she always be on her high, smug horse and tell others how behave!

When her vile husband was in court for assaulting two teenagers she actually tweeted:

“Goodnight! I shall return when @ericjoyce is let off tomorrow for not taking kindly to being aggressed by, um, ‘excitable’ teenagers.”

She then added: “Don’t intimidate people who might intimidate you back, is the lesson. Especially in a corner shop at 5pm.”

He had winded one boy and headbutted the other. Claimed he was making a "citizens arrest"

Whats the betting these boys were BAME and he was relying on the police taking a respectable white middle aged man's word?
Luckily there was CCTV which showed he was lying AND the shopkeeper testified against him. He said the boys were crying and saying they wanted to go home - CHILDREN FFS!

As for the latest - it makes me sick. IK has a 17 year old daughter with learning difficulties FFS!!!!!!!!!!

I do accept that it's a strong possibility she's been coerced and controlled by Joyce, and as a result of this has accepted/put up with/made excuses for his behaviour.

It's a harder pill to swallow that she was not long ago gloating online about him wanting to know the addresses of Tattlers. For someone to revel in threats of violence (yes India, that's exactly what you were insinuating so don't even bother) when their partner has multiple previous convictions for common assault, well I think that shows you exactly what type of person she is.

I just cannot get my head around it. If he had been done for fraud, expenses fiddling, or something, I could see people doing the polite thing, but he’s not - he has more than one violent convictions and now this. How do you pretend you are a jolly countryside couple when your partner has just joined the ranks on the sex offenders register. All the money in the world can’t brush that one under the carpet.

Unfortunately I think it can - or at least power/influence can, if not money. Whether or not she's still with him, absolutely nothing can convince me that the general lack of outrage isn't her doing. She has stifled this, either for him or for her own sake.

I’ve been drunk plenty of times before.

Not once has the thought ever occurred to me to go looking on the internet for images of children being sexually abused.

Off topic I know but.... India was sporting a fabulous new do in this weekends ST courtesy of a little know hairdressers......Hershesons. It was accompanied by a before picture. High maintenance hair extensions prior to lockdown had left India with matted hair, dreadlocks in her own words. It was pointed out in the comments section that just a few weeks ago India has written about a hair product, used through lockdown, that she proclaimed had left her with silky smooth hair Very different from the matted mess in the before picture. Someone also noted this was the second hair feature featuring Hershesons in this weeks ST
