I don't understand how so few people mention what she and her disgusting husband did.
I was in a bookshop recently with a friend and they picked up one of her books. I told them all about India as they’d never heard of her. Safe to say she didn’t get a sale from my mate or ever will do.
I read through the acknowledgments in Waterstones and there is no mention of Eric Joyce or any of her children, which is quite unusual.
And I presume the circle jerk of her, Moran, Sali, Marian Keyes, Jojo Moyes all writing gushing blurbs for each others books has stopped.
Used to make me laugh how often Sali would drop her into things - 'at Christmas I often used to stay with my friend India' 'I was talking to my friend, India, about botox' etc etc etc. She was so proud of that friendship.
Moyes, Moran and Keyes are also with Penguin. You can bet your bottom dollar that, ideally, Penguin would have wheeled them out to blurb for this book. My guess is that those three authors declined to blurb because they now don’t want their names (and brands) associated with IK.
A tacit confirmation of being on weight loss jabs in her Times column today? Giddily stating how she's rebuilding her entire wardrobe from scratch and recommending three Skinceuticals serums (combined cost of £455) for skin she "didn't think was possible for a woman my age to have".
She said much the same about Beauty Pie Youthbomb serum. Yet she still has a face like a haunted tree

I’d imagine the reason they moved from the previous pile is Eric and India were worn down with managing hobby livestock. I wonder how he fills his days. Actually I’ll bleach my mind of that.

India keeps extolling the virtues of therapy but I do question what's changed if she still behaves like this.

Liz Jones is nearly as heinous as India, just in different ways - but India being a mean girl about anyone's looks is mindblowing, she is vile both inside and out.
Everything India’s done and she’s still up on her high horse. Flabbergasting.

Liz Jones is obviously mad as a box of frogs. But I think all her rescuing of abused dogs and horses is rather sweet. And she did some brilliant feminist campaigns against anorexic models etc. when she was editor of Cosmopolitan. Also whatever surgery Liz has had looks a lot better than India’s post weight loss drug facelift. And she doesn’t associate with paedophiles like India does.
Liz Jones is heinous but I think choosing a convicted p’do (I know but my phone won’t let me type the full word out) over your own kid is far, far worse than anything Jones has ever said or done. Doesn’t even compare.
