I earn a shade over min wage @ £8.90 an hour. I work 32 hours a week in a pharmacy. I am currently furloughed from my second job (I work 10 hours a week from home) where I earn £10 an hour. I am 36 & the pharmacy is my first ‘full time’ job as I’ve been a shm since I was 18. Financially even this small wage has made such a difference to our lives, we are better off than we’ve ever been & it’s SO nice for me to finally contribute to the household! I also have just started another business with my husband & hoping to earn an extra 1k a month from this. (He runs his own company for his work)

£28000, entry level job in data operations. I don’t live in the UK though so cost of living is more. For where I live I’m pretty much on minimum wage. I don’t mind though, I love my job and the salary is great for me.

Although I’m not currently working, I usually work part time in an admin job earning £9000 ish a year. I’ve had to have a five year career break though as my middle child is severely disabled and it’s basically impossible to work. I ‘earn’ £65 a week as a carer for her now

I earn just over £49,000 as an operations manager and get a yearly bonus that's usually between 15-20% of my salary. Feel very lucky that I work in an industry that hasn't been affected by covid.

I've a skilled specialist role so my pay is a very healthy six figures a year.
For a thread that's for people to tell everyone how much they earn, you're being very coy! :ROFLMAO: ;)

I think it all depends on where you live, and how much experience you have; plus qualifications.
I am a qualified accountant and earn £73k p.a. For a 35-40 hour week. 30 years experience.

£0.
I lost my job in April last year, and I've only had Christmas temp work since.
Looking forward to finding a new job and start earning money.

What do you do and how much do you earn? My pay can vary over the year but it won't be less than £150K this year, hope to make more.

It blows my mind that there are people who earn that much (no jealousy, you have an amazing wage!)

When I think of our annual income £27000, I can only imagine what kind of life we could have with 5 times that amount 👍 we’d have so much ‘spare’ money!

Until recently I was on 20k but HR realised they were paying me less than london living wage so now I’m on 23k. I’m an office administrator

I earn £73k per annum. I now have £3 left in my bank account. So living off my credit card for the rest of the month. This is due to paying a huge amount to my ex who does not work. Everyone has different circumstances.

I am about to be made redundant, so I guess his gravy train will now end and he will have to go and get a job.

This is a very good thing to remember. I know people brining home £1,000 a month who have lots in savings and I also have family who bring in £80K+ and have everything on credit.

It depends how you spend it. I live mortgage free in a nice house, nothing flash but comfortable and I could afford bigger and better. I'm divorced and my grown son moved back in with me at the start of lockdown. I drive a second hand campervan and an old Land Rover Discovery. I'm putting together money to buy a rural property outright in Spain and will retire there in fifteen years time in my mid fifties. I've done all the holidays, 5* hotels and had a great time, now I'm just not spending a penny more than I have to. I work with single guys who get their two weeks leave from the rig fly off to the sunshine and come back two weeks later stone broke. No matter what you earn you have to rule over your money and not let it rule you.

Oh definitely, we don’t have a lot of stuff (just what we need!) in all honesty I’d be happy with owning my own house and a uk holiday home!

We do live a relatively simple life (£27000 before tax doesn’t really go far on the south coast!) but a bit more would make us comfortable!
