One of the reasons I looked into this more is because I really like Robert Downey Jr. Seems I have more reasons to like him! I had no idea about Hayden's upbringing, it's truly tragic.
The list of nice people in Hollywood is good and hopefully true.

Sounds like she is sober and in a better place . She's clearly been through hell and has a lot of trauma . I'll be very interested to read her book. She deserves alot better
She still sounds slurry to me :| they interviewed her abusive ex and he was slurring in the exact same way
I think it’s the opioid abuse, I know heroin relaxes all your muscles and ruins them, I don’t know if Hayden did heroin or just pills, or if pills have the same effect but that’s what I assume (hope) it is. I’ve always liked her so I hope she’s in a good place

I read her autobiography, she had such a tragic, hard life. Her mother was a narcissist and her dad was a good man. She lost her brother who she was so close to from an accidental overdose. Her poor father losing both of his children.

Such a tragic soul. There was a sad sense of inevitability about this news. May she finally be at peace.
I guess I didn't know much about her except she was famous and young, it's not nice reading of the possibility that she was abused from an early age
Didn’t she have a horrible time with her ex and their daughter? He took full custody and she could hardly see her daughter. I think her ex husband is the Ukrainian boxer? Cannot remember his name. I’ve always had a sense of sorrow for her. I’d read she was abused when she was younger and exploited as a young girl in Hollywood then felt like her ex exploited those things about her to get full custody of their daughter
I'm so sad to see that this morning. I saw an interview she did not long ago and she seemed so troubled but spoke about her daughter so proudly. I hope her daughter gets all the support she'll need, such a tragic situation.
Unbelievably sad. She struggled so much and never got over the death of her brother. Gutted for her.
Not the news I was expecting to wake up to. I absolutely loved her in Nashville.
She had genuine issues when she and Wladimir separated, she said so herself that it was better for the child to grow up in a stable life in Europe. She did say in some interviews that she didn't want it that restrictive, but in recent years she has spend more time with her daughter and never really talked badly of him.
The abusive ex is the one she got a restraining order against in 2021. And it looks like they were back together judging by what tmz wrote?
Yeah the not so blind items about her exploitation were awful.
I got the sense however that the custody was because she was abusing substances again, and said as much later on that as hard as it was to be away from her child and the child without their mother she wasn’t in any fit state to be a parent at the time.
It’s just all so sad, she’s always seemed like a hard working decent person who struggled with substances.
